I'm a female that turns 30 in a couple of days and I used to bump Eminem's first two albums on repeat. Drive my mom insane. I'd go to sleep listening to Eminem and then put my earbuds in and go to school listening to Eminem. Especially evil deeds. I'd just change some of the lyrics to my dad. Lol. It's crazy because I'm mixed and never felt like I fit in everywhere. I'd get called white washed by the blacks and n by the whites and the Mexicans just wanted nothing to do with me. Mind you my mom is half white half Mexican with white skin and hazel eyes, I came out brown not knowing the black side at all. And was raised mostly white and mexican. And my dad was running the streets and doing whatever. So Eminem was my everything growing up. I'll never forget. I will forever love Eminem's music and my mindset. Stan. Kim. Yep

It's easy to see things through rose-tinted spectacles, and paradoxically only see the negative... at the same time. And this is about that contradiction: wanting to believe, wanting to help and love.. but knowing that the doubts will linger, and that ultimately people don't change. Except sometimes they can and do. Because life is complicated. It's actually very deep..

I feel this shit on a spiritual level bruh. You invest mad years into a girl just for it to end in a train wreck, and it makes it really hard to ever imagine letting yourself become that vulnerable again.
@chaddionne26054 жыл бұрын
It just is hard to imagine getting back to that level of trust and love in a new relationship afterward. And without counting all the time you spent kowing that person and building a reputation, showing all your little bits to her, and now knowing you'll have to start over all this crap.
@chaddionne26054 жыл бұрын
But I mean, hey, it's life, right ? It's not fair but it's life. You can't win at it, there is no goal or finish line and love is just a bonus. You can live without it, it's just harder to defeat the main boss then ( which is life I guess ¯\_(ツ)_/¯)
