This song hit different now that I'm older. In highschool I was put in the behavioral health ward at the national hospital because I tried taking my own life. The stigma that came with being admitted there was bad. People all thought I was crazy just because I was put there. The original mmlp was about Marshall when he was going through tough times, about to quit rap, going through trouble with Kim..how can you expect the mmlp2 to be anything like the original? He’s been famous for over a decade, he’s been on and off drugs, and he’s trying to make up for lost time. That’s a completely different Marshall. His music and vibe is going to be different. I’m glad he’s in a better place where he doesn’t necessarily have to make #1 hits to feed his family. People calling him a sell out are completely mistaken. Writing to make the top charts to make money is a form of manipulation. He can do whatever he wants now and freely express himself as an artist. I think this song if great. Eminem was mmlp, and now he is mmlp2. He’s 41 years old. How could he possibly tell the same story as when he was in his late 20’s? He’s grown as a person and gone through trials and tribulations. If you don’t like the new Marshall, then don’t cross your fingers for his old sound. He has no reason to go back to being pissed off. He’s resolved his issues with Kim because his near death experience made him realize there’s no reason to hold grudges. His mindset is different, just like all of ours will be in 20 years. Either change with the times and accept him as an artist or quit complaining and find a new one.

doesn't matter the reason, his songs and rap spirit got a lot worse. he's also a lot more cocky now, u can see it in his freestyles and his mannerisms lately. of course hes happier now, but that also resulted in him making shitty music and losing spirit for rapping. and why tf would he name something MMLP2 if it won't be a sequel to the first, or at least match the first in skill or have the same feel to it? yes i get it its his life and now hes in a different stage, but the two albums are different both in emotions and skill, he's losing it man he needs inspiration or something, doesn't have to be something like his life is horrible and using rap as an outlet, he just needs to find something that makes him wanna rap.
