That venue is the renovated Michigan Central Station (1913) featured in it's decrepit state on Eminem's song, Beautiful. He's been a driving force in promoting Detroit's rebirth. The performance you reacted to was only the free to the public part of the event. The performances that cost money included Diana Ross, Jack White, Big Sean and others. This man is a musical genius, a great father and a good man.

man this takes me back, i live in the UK - went to his gig in 2003 at the MK Bowl in Milton Keynes, more than 65,000 people were packed in there, he had Cypress Hill as lead too, will never ever forget that day

I think that the tracklist was VERY important! Each and every song. His newest track is the blend of Shady then and Eminem since. Then Sing for the Moment about rebelling because people won't let you be you. Then Welcome 2 Detroit as a bit of a break, but it's still all about who you go to when you're in a bad spot. Then finishing with Not Alone because we've all messed up and we've all been messed up, but if we come together and work harder we can overcome anything
