Fr everyone makes it about black and white I’ve heard more rappers say em is one of the best rappers ever but I always see ppl hating on em that’s black online then always saying to white ppl of course you think Eminem is this or that that’s yalls god. When shit if em was black he would be guaranteed to be considered one of the goats but since hes white he always gets some sort of hate but thats just like lil Wayne he may not be everyone’s cup of tea but he is still a goat. When it comes to album sales and knowledge of music and rap those two are on a different level compared to any rapper todays mainstream *aside from Kendrick and Cole* even most all the old school guys most of them paved the way and craft for them to be that tho and also they all have different styles and shit too so it’s hard to said a goat but I always say one of them and I don’t know how many can argue that just like you can’t really argue drake based off sales alone even tho he’s not the shit to me

Some writing and practice is done is equivalent to and athlete doing pt and practicing plays but when it’s game time you freestyle to the situation. Right? Take a few days and write what your verse would be in place of his and make a video and let’s see if you can get the attention and praise from 50 himself, on how you out did the original. It's not about him just being white. It's more about marketability. Eminem is easier to market to more mainstream audiences. He's always been edgy, but it's a type of edge that white markets are a little more comfortable with. As a result, he's able to penetrate the mainstream music market a lot better. I definitely knew a lot of kids growing up that mostly listened to pop and rock but also Eminem. None of them would listen to NWA or Nas, but through Eminem, they're exposed to broader hip hop.

Theres not a single year Jay Z was the hottest or even top 5, the only good song he ever made was Numbcore (Numb/Encore) with Linkin park, he was never on Ems level, he was never on Waynes level, Mans isnt even on Chris Browns level. If he wasn't with Beyonce he'd be a NOBODY
@tbtnr9851
@tbtnr9851 4 ай бұрын
Yeah he’s never had a hot year because he’s always been that guy. You dont need a ‘hot year’ to be good. Jay has always been relevant, popping and has that longevity which automatically makes him one of the greatest. There are plenty of rappers who have had a ‘hot year’ and fell off.
@Mr.Se7enn

@@tbtnr9851 The only thing that made him "relevant" is being married to Beyonce, he'd be absolutely nothing without her

Completely agree and how business minded Jay-z is, Jay-z knew that. When Jay-z sold his touring right to make that money back hedid a tour with Eminem.

I grew up in Southern Louisiana where rap is everyone’s music. Eminem was cool cause he was a crazy white dude. But we had greats like Master P, Juvenile, Mystikal, Lil Wayne, not to mention the Houston rappers. I’m thankful for that background.

Don't know who this dude is, but he's right on the money. Em brought a shit ton of black rappers that white kids never heard of into their houses! Love Em or hate him, Em has solidified himself as one of the GOATs. THE GOAT to me!!! No one is coming close to Em's pen game! No one!!! He makes words rhyme that shouldn't rhyme. And bends them so they can be heard as 2 different words. Example... The Megan bar in Houdini: "Would I have a shot at A FEAT?" and "Would I have a shot at HER FEET?"
