Eminem stopped going after people after Relapse because he was being humble and everyone started trashing him thinking Em doesn’t diss no more. He is old. But with Kamikaze, Eminem just reminded everyone that he is too big to respond to you but if he does, he’ll destroy you regardless of who you are.

I don’t think it went any further than his earlier albums he released. Some of those songs were fucking dark and sick. It was probably something similar to those songs, except in today’s world it would be considered “way too far”. Wish he could keep rapping bout that dark shit making people complain that it’s too violent like he use to. That’s probably why people think he fell off. When it comes to strictly HIP-HOP and love of the culture Em and Pac are on the same level and each hold a spot of their own that no one else can reach or share they can only strive to have their own place among them and the rest of our legends.

@@nebyaaaaaaaaattttt Hahahaha But on a serious note I agree with you Jasmine. People take advantage of nice people. Eminem talks smack, a lot, but I think he's a cool guy. I mean he's been loyal to Dr.Dre after all these years (not forgetting the impact Dre had on his life when it came to giving him a shot at becoming a rapper). And if people listen to the song I need a Doctor, even Dre says that when his son died and he was going through a lot, the only person who was there was Eminem. I think a lot of people should want a friend like Eminem. I also think Eminem will defend himself if he think it's necessary. It seems like he's the kind of person that weighs his words (he pauses a lot to choose his reply to a lot of the questions in this interview), but sometimes he just goes "you know what, whatever! If you're gonna say whatever you want, I'm gonna do the same" and it sucks that people take him to that point, but ti seems a lot of his fans like when he gets to that point because at then he's not Eminem anymore he's Slim shady xD And Slim Shady don't care about your feelings.

people judge eminem because he is white but they dont wanna accept the fact that he is one of the greatest in this rap industry thats dominated by blacks forgetting that he reacts also as a human being to all the back firing. who is he to only take being judged and keep his opinion inside a box. he is good and they insecure about it but shady will remain shady and still is the greatest rapper alive. period

This is turning into quite an epic series of Interviews. The first time that I can recall that not Eminem, not Slim Shady or any other character he portrays in his fame but Marshal Mathers the person has ever really opened up on how he feels about everything surrounding him. Whether you are a fan of his or not he is as real as they come and I have 0 doubts he is telling the truth as he sees it regardless if people think he is full of shit or not. One of the most interesting people of all time as far as Im concerned and definitely glued to this interview series

ServantoftheKing I fully agree I've been die hard Eminem fan since 90s and to see the criticism he got for revival doesn't make sense I think alot of it went iver people's heads.

Yeah the saddest thing about the hate he got for the song Walk on Water is that he was expressing his deep insecurities about his writing, creative process and audience reception and I thought for it to get trashed is ridiculous bc it was an awesome song, loved every second, it was like poetry and the lyrics are some of my favorite lyrics ever and they were so relatable and I think people who trashed it just don't understand it yet but yeah ain't that ironic tho

It kills me that people call him washed up. Your talking about a guy who is considered one of the best or maybe even the best ever. Lyrically he is top tier. Musically he is gifted. Above all his ability to bend words and form rythms that no other person could comprehend enough to think of makes him far from washed up. I support anyone who has that level of talent. His ability to stand up for whats right. And ability to pop out some good music. Kamikaze is dope. Even a hater can realize that.

It's impossible to call him washed up. You would generally be a liar. Kamikaze was flawless and it's sale represented that, it also shook the whole hip hop community. His technique and quality music, it shows every characteristic that opposes the words "washed up"

Stupid Monkey I’m sorry, I’m not a hater but Kamikaze ain’t it for me. You got to understand people are at different points in life and listen to different things and/or have different ways of looking at things. I don’t like the album. I like “Lucky you” but tbh is mostly because Joyner snaps in that song. I like Em’s double time flow as much as anybody and his pen is still nice but the words aren’t hitting as hard for me. Also there’s a lot of sensitivity in this album. A lot of defending Revival which is just a no. Em is still one of the greats, he as a writer is still top notch but his ear for beats and music is off. And is putting his words on very avg sounds. Idk, it’s just not my cup of team dude. Not a hater, just understand is an opinion that fucks heavy with the MMLP and the Slim Shady one too... the Eminem show... it’s all dope. Just not the last 2 tbh

1. Em really values friendship, loyalty, and trust. I’ve known that for years but until now I didn’t realize how much he really values these things as an older artist. 2. Am I being paranoid for thinking these “parts” are counting down (or up) to something?

Something you dont under us that artists have a sense of trust between themselves first and foremost when it comes to their individual projects and the personal opinions about someone else's work. That's why Em said "It could really suck but being that someone was cool to you. Why go public with it?"..I bet if Em thought Tyler or Earl shit was trash he would say something personally and not just put them down publicly. It's a matter if respect from one artist to another

He's an honest soul and a likeable guy who is wasting too much effort and time defending himself against folk that aren't worth the acknowledgement.
