Kristen I am about to graduate esthetician school! Where I am the required hours are 600 and I'm so close! Your channel has been part of the reason why I went to esthetician school. I absolutely adore your channel. Everything about it. I've been looking into Eminence products so I love that you uploaded this! Maybe you can do an updated Dermalogica review with your favorite/least favorite products? Thanks for the reviews on Image, Skin Script, and now Eminence!

The spa i work at uses Eminence! I was honestly super thrilled considering in school I did research on a couple other skincare brands, and Eminence stuck out to me because of the uniqueness & their philosophy. The products you mentioned are personal faves are the same for me as well! Also, did not think of mixing blueberry with mangosteen, definitely gotta try that!! Our spa has a rep who comes 3-4 times a year to teach us product knowledge on current products & new products. I’ll truly say in my opinion, I see most results using other brands than Eminence . And I agree , Citrus & Kale does smell a bit icky lol Thank you for you videos you’ve truly been so helpful in my journey!!❤

Citrus and Kale masque mixed with strawberry rhubarb masque helps the “salad” smell. I smell both the citrus and kale when using on clients. I have been using Emience for over 8 years. Using less of their product as well especially with bright skin masque is helpful when using it as a facial massage.

I don’t like it when brands label themselves as “chemical-free”… Everything is a chemical. And chemicals aren’t bad for you! It comes down to the formulation… Various cosmetic chemists have debunked this greenwashing claim but I know they have a massive following but just unfortunate their marketing is just not it.
@xochequetsal

For real, I did a training with one of their official trainers and she claimed that none of their products contained any alcohols at all. I thought that was a bold claim so I searched for ingredients and low and behold, natural alcohol as a preservative. She was adamant. "THATS NOT OUR WEBSITE!" So just stood up, went to our cabinet and pointed it out on the box. 🤭
@queeninadream_

@@xochequetsal EXACTLY, nothing they're claiming is factual. Various Cosmetic chemists have been debunking this fear mongering these "all-natural/clean" brands put out. It's exhausting! Sure they might be an amazing brands but their ideals don't align with me. I tried listening to their acne talk during the Chicago Beauty Show but nope...

This lady misspoke They don’t label themselves ALL chemical free …they have their own biodynamic farm, green offices, B corporation, they are FREE FROM parabans, animal byproducts, propylene glycol, SLS, harmful colorants and fragranges, mineral oils, petroleum and several other HARSH COSMETIC CHEMICALS. lastly it’s really ignorant to say EVERYTHING is a chemical. Fruits, herbs and vegetables aren’t chemicals and that’s the make up of all their products.

When I was working at the spa carrying Eminence in Vancouver, there was an in-person training with a rep once every 3 months! And she was great and detailed in product knowledge training and demo. But honestly pricing is very high! And I totally agree with favourite and least favourite products!! I didn’t like Kale serums and masks at all…but I love mangosteen peel and stone crop ❤

The spa I'm with rn carries Eminence and I do think it's beautiful line! However, I don't think it's great for many clients especially those who are looking for acne and age management. Our rep is really kind and let's us text her when we have questions and we usually get gratis after we do in person trainings. I work with a couple of other lines that I believe are more result driven so I usually gravitate towards them over Eminence. I do really love the clear skin line, mangosteen backbar, and facial recovery oil tho! Also I've been using their new kombucha line and so far I'm enjoying it

The Citrus and Kale Serum and Masque are the two best "mixable" products. For example, four drops of Marine Flower serum and four drops of Citrus and Kale serum has a dramatically positive effect on the skin. Or the Citrus and Kale Masque with the Strawberry Rhubarb Masque. You should get about 150-200 uses from the 8oz pro products, only a tiny amount is needed.

Thank you for this video Kristen!! I am an estie student with hopes of going solo one day and I am also an eminence ride or die since 2014! I worked in a spa at the front desk for 2 years back in 2014 and we had an amazing rep who came quarterly to educate us and because I believed in the products and saw results, the guests thought I was an estie because I knew so much! I did reach out to them for my business project at school and their opening order was steep! But that does include the testers, and retail, not just backbar. They also sent me the order form and protocols. I will say Eminence is a luxury brand and people will seek out your spa if you use Eminence, but I am worried about the price point for people who don’t know or care about Eminence’s business practices. With that said, I was able to create fun, seasonal facials (for my business plan) with their offerings and I am not sure I can do that with Image or a few other brands, so if that’s something you plan on offering they rock at that! Thanks again! I love your content and it’s been so educational and enlightening!! 🤍🤍🤍

Eminence does have ongoing education but sometimes I do feel like I have to reach out to receive it. I am a solo aesthetician and it’s kind of feels like they expect me to know everything about the brand and my one on one training‘s sometimes make me feel dumb. they also push you really hard to spend more and more and more money, realistically I wish that they were more catering to solo aestheticians because I think we could really grow their brand but they don’t really give us a chance. when I was going to open up my account with eminence they were so picky about how many miles away I was from the nearest spa that carried eminence , they made me send pictures of my entire suite and the outside of my building and they even make you some pictures of retail shelving that you’re going to use.

So I work at a studio where we use eminence and they have a rep that comes out every 3 months for education which is always exciting because we learn about new products, existing back bar products and sometimes hands on techniques. So maybe just depends on the studio. The rep is so passionate about the products and company and she gives out ideas for sales, samples and we also get gratis from the line we learned about. It seriously makes it hard for me to leave the company because this has been such a great perk. I absolutely love eminence and it is pricey but so worth it, especially those discount's help. I do wish we got to play with more products back bar especially the spicy stimulating ones and the peels. Always good to have on hand. Been trying to get a hold of them for myself for home but doesn't seem like we're allowed 😮‍💨

I am a cosmetologist in Mexico and I have been using Eminence for more than 2 years and I love that if when I started using the product I bought many things that I later realized were not so necessary and I did not like the results like the bright skin masque I think the same no not even the bamboo age corrective masque is worth the super heavy texture I didn't like it at all my favorites because they are very versatile are stone crope masque, clear skin probiotic masque, eight greens hot, and in rosehip treatments with this I do heat treatments and cold next to the eight greens hot I would recommend buying the travel kit it brings a little of everything and they are divided by sensitive skin, clear skin, bright skin and is better to try and not buy products that are not needed

Hi Kristen! For years I’ve been searching for reviews of Shira skincare. I learned about Shira from my certified esthetician, and have loved the results. The price is reasonable, and the products go a long way. The shir-organic line is my favorite. They don’t have a lot of public awareness, so I’ve never found an honest review from someone who does this type of thing, let alone an esthetician! From what you’ve described off your practice, I wonder if you’ve heard of them, tested them, etc., because I’m curious how they stack up against more expensive/well known lines like eminence or skin script which I’ve just begun to try out of curiosity if they’re better. They’re just too expensive for me to try more because Shira is working really well. So I am looking for guidance on how Shira stacks ups against other lines and specific comparable products between lines. I’d be happy to chat more about products I’ve used if you like. Please help!!
