🎵 I think this music is real groo-vvy... 🎵 🎵 As I sing these songs to myself (or me) 🎵 🎵🎵 I must make up the words you see 🎵 'cause I do not know Punjabi 🎵 🎵 (singing to myself these words, its fun, 🎵 🎵 as I listen to Sammi Part 1) 🎵

Google Translate says that what I say in English as a transliteration of Hindi "सत श्री अकाल" is translated to Punjabi as "ਸਤਿ ਸ਼੍ਰੀ ਅਕਾਲ". Just wanted to say a formal "hello!" to all my Punjabi friends out there in cyberspace, whether i know you or not.... Oh, wow, sorry if I stepped on any toes...I just realized that the description for this video says Pakistan's folk singer. But he was born when it was the Punjab region before modern Pakistan, and I learned about him from Sikh friends that ran an Indian Restaurant, where I waited for a while. I guess in our own ways, those of us with serious minds are waiting on the Supreme One, the Ancient of Days, however we understand him. So can we just be civil and polite and open to listening to one another sometimes? I strive to be like Yeshua (yes, that Yeshua) and love my enemies (which I interpret as try to understand and empathize with, but not promote their agendas) and be kind to all, which I realize in the war-torn and fallen world is not always possible without sacrificing too much. Even if it seems like Jesus was wrong when he said "Blessed are the meek, for they shall inherit the earth". Like....WHEN will that be, J man? How long must we wait? Ha! Didn't mean to start interfaith theological discussion (which ultimately will go nowhere, I'm sure, but I got into "comment mode", and just feel like calling out these crazy half-formed thoughts of mine out into the cyber-wind, the "internet wilderness". Hope I did not seriously offend anyone. I hope you will just think calmly about why you do or do not agree with sentiments expressed. These ideas are mine alone, and no one else is responsible for their content. Any similarity with your own thoughts is coincidental. (but welcome).

Ha! I would agree! Isn't that interesting? I would probably transliterate into English as Bhot khob or as American English talk b'oat cob? I wish I could hear how you say it.... When food was very hot or spicy at Bombay Cuisine Restaurant, I would say "boat garam"
