EMIRATES BRAND NEW PREMIUM ECONOMY 13 hours on the A380 from Dubai to New York

Join me as a review what I think is the world's best premium economy product on a 13-hour, ultra-long-haul flight from Dubai to New York. Overall, another very good flight with Emirates. The seat is perfect for long-haul travel with great recline and thick, comfortable cushioning, the legrest also extends very high giving you more support. The service was good, although crew weren't as friendly as other Emirates crew I've experienced in the past. The food was very tasty, and there was plenty of it. The only (somewhat) disappointing part was the amenities. The blanket was thin and the pillow was cheap and uncomfortable, no slippers or premium amenity kits like you would get on U.S. carriers... I'm pretty sure Emirates gives the same amenity kit that we got to economy as well. Anyway, a small grievance on an almost perfect flight.

The Emirates & it’s Legendary Fleet size of A380s don’t disappoint me at all! 33 RR Powered A380s & 88 EA Powered A380s are making a total 121 which is Massive! A380 Provides Inflight Lounge & Better Business Class Seats, but when it comes to First Class, 777 & it’s Massive GE90s are Better, i.e. Game Changer Suites. But Flying A380 is Fun as we can socialise with our Fellow Economy Class Travellers in the A380s Wide Lounge. I Loved Watching this Video! In Fact, this Became my Favourite Video! The Skies of Dubai at 3 in the Morning & the Melodious Sound of Rolls Royce Engines are an absolute Treat! Now, I Request you to Fly Emirates A380 again in Same Premium Economy & Same Seat, but from Dubai to Los Angeles. Flying for 16 Hours in that Plane is Fun! Loved your Video!

This is a very good flight. Food is as always good with Emirates and Standard is very high. A6-EVQ with Rolls Royce Trent 900 Engines is absolutely beautiful to watch. One thing Emirates could improve on based on my experience of travelling with their A380 many times is to make their landing smoother instead of being bumpy like this one. Did you use your camera or phone to take footage of this since I would like to do this as well. Would you advise purchasing a phone holder to take footage?

Never had a hard landing on The A 380 with Lufthansa...Maybe the Emirate pilots are trained to do a hard landing..Hard landing are usually done when it's raining..

@@neilcharles2520 That's good to know. I never had a hard landing with Qantas A380s as well even though I only experienced it once. I also heard from passengers flown British Airways A380s that they have smooth landings. From my experience of travelling with Emirates what is strange is they land very smoothly on Dubai's Runways and very few of them lands smoothly at away airports.

Some 10 years ago i thought that Emirates loses the competition among the Gulf carriers. Now i think that they are ahead of all others. My ranking is : 1. Emirates 2. Etihad 3. Qatar 4. Oman Air 5. Gulf Air

i disagree simply because there will always be people who just want to pay rock bottom prices to get from A to B. Hence Economy, if you want those extra comforts then you pay a little extra. If you want even more comfort and a flat bed, direct aisle access, Champagne etc etc pay more and fly business, then there is first which give you as much as the airline can give if you have money to burn. No reason to get rid of economy for the majority of people who just want to pay the least and save the money to spend on something else. Airline can't give premium economy for economy prices, they have to charge that bit extra because it's costing that much more. Simple economics, you get what you pay for, there is a classand price for everyone

In my opinion, the best seats in that premium economy configuration are the aisle middle seats in the first row. You have nobody sitting in front of you. You can stretch your legs out forever because they are on either side of the stairs.

I also wish you got way more into detail about the actual interior design of the aircraft in your reviews. there's a lot more thought and planning that goes into it. the star themed ceiling, the lighting, etc. it's all purposefully done. It's a whole new level of thought and attention to detail most avo geeks lack.
