Thank you for your Cilicia series. They are a very interesting ancient tribe still existing today. They had their own alphabet (different from Arabic and Greek; looks like a mixture of Arabic and medieval Armenian) at least until the 1960s. Given their name, they might have to do with domestication of cattle (Çêlek in Kurdish/Ezdiki; while the Cilicians are called Çelikia). I think it's safe to say they knew their limestone architecture and how to make it as earthquake proof as possible. Very impressive ruins. Wish they could have their stuff back and rule their own land again.
