Good Interview. Many incidents hilariously narrated by Bhagyaraj in his own style. How he missed the chance of becoming a kingmaker was really his bad luck. But during his period, he was a great director and writer. His movies were gems. Hats off to him. Between 1977 & today both People & the Tamil Cinema Industry have changed for the worse. Great Production Houses have shut their doors down like Gemini & AVM Studios, for example. People have become very corrupt, greedy & cut throat in their Profession. While the business is changing in Kerala & Hindi Cinema World, Tamil Cinema is run by Kanthu Vatti Mafia, as the business is largely labelled as "Illegitimate with too much of Money Laundering & Tax Evasion" although this has produced 4 Chief Ministers in the mean time (Annaa, MGR, Kalaigner & Jayalalitha). Actors Guild, under the leadership of Naaser & Vishal is getting an Official Building finally after years of tug of war. Producer's Council is in total disarray with so much in-fighting. KBR could not take the heat of just one simple conflict between an Unknown Script Writer & Murugadoss recently. KBR was burnt out in that "simple" case. Best thing for KBR is to just accept the fact he is getting old and retire happily, going into the Twilight smiling. No... he is a very egoistic man, who wants to taste the poison of FAILURES & Humiliation at the hands of Juniors in the Industry. AS written, so will happen! Wait & watch!!
