Todays youths miss these kinda awesome melodic hard rocks unfortunately, the amazing lyrics, excellent guitar solos from the 80s, the best period of the splendid melodic hard rocks. Todays rocks are mostly meaningless except a few.. thanks for posting..

Just Excellent! Awesome! AOR with Incredible Music! these Fantastic AORs are getting lost day by day replaced by Todays craps, 80s was the Decade when these Beautiful AORs came up, i prefer these Kind of Songs with Music much more than Todays songs and music..

@Fran these AORs/Melodic rocks had the meaningful lyrics with meaningful melodies and rhythms which so called nowadays melodic rocks don't have!.. Bands like Refugee and others specially from the 80s and 90s could create good music from their raw talents which todays bands lack and play meaningless music which don't have soul and power!..

Refugee came to Cleve in '88. They Opened for a group called Jeff Paris band. I did not like JP at all. As far as I was concerned Refugeee were the Headliners. It was a great show. They played TIGHT... well rehearsed and their vocals sounded exactly like this recording. Their guitar player was very underrated... obviously these guys hav since disband and Im sure are all out of music biz but I rememberred them enough to search youtube... Thanks for the memories. I liked these guyz, :) J.
