I'll have to pick up a couple to try out for myself, but it looks very promising. As an instructor it can be difficult to convince people to properly secure thier guns when not being carried, but this design makes for an easy sell.

This video is the reason I heard of StopBox. I have been using a LifePod 2.0, it is a very secure box of a similar size but from less than a year of use I have noticed it can be finicky (can't enter the combo too fast or it error's out, seems to have issues recognizing key taps on cold winter days, when the battery dies I'll have to take time to hunt for the key and remove the cover from the keyhole) so I agree completely with what was said about electronic keypad operated boxes. Once I saw this (and a couple of torture test videos) I decided to take advantage of the buy one get one deal. They just came in today, and I've got to say I'm very impressed! Even when you know the combination you still have to know how to use it correctly. It won't open if you don't, but if you do it is lightning fast to get into with just a little practice. I can see this takes the dexterity of adult hands. Definitely replacing the LifePod with one, and will probably gift the other. Thanks Emma and dad!

I saw this ad on youtube... So i went to the lockpick lawywr and watched him "break" into a stopbox in less than ten seconds... Just to remind myself why I don't buy stuff that's advertised on KZbin....

That was also the old version of the StopBox. The new one has 81 different variations with decoy and half presses now.

I have several kids. And to be able to put the guns away when I get home while still keeping them near in rapid access free of malfunction is worth the world to me. Stop box is not something I'd leave around kids unattended for extended periods of time. It's just nice to take a load off after work while maintaining a busy life.
