I'm pretty sure that if Hook didn't exist Emma and Regina would at least have a passion or eventually fall in love! Who knows...Also, it's funny to think that Regina is kind of Emma's step grandmother, so they would have a special relationship anyaway despite everything that happends with Snow and Daniel, something to connect them, but of course that doens't matter because is not a direct blood relationship... fortunately :)
