She's so underrated. Listen to her music, folks. It's outstanding
@IVomitOrgasms5 жыл бұрын
Underrated in what sense? She's a niche style of music, but certainly well liked amongst people in the scene. Shes been relevant since Red Sparowes. Her and Chelsea Wolfe have a wide branch of fans, tons of insanely popular metal, post rock, and doom bands follow and comment on their Instagram stuff. It's a rare feat to be a folksy female singer able to tour with some heavy ass metalheads. Shes only underrated if you're using the massive mainstream bands to compare her against. For a doom and gloom babe, shes definitely got all the praise and acknowledgment she deserves.

@klingt net Konoyo or the up and coming Anoyo? I loved Konoyo and liked the first single I heard off of Anoyo so, idk If I will agree with you. Either way I could see how going to a show for that sound could be pretty unnecessary.
@zensei9995 жыл бұрын
@klingt net I think Konoyo is a good album but I probably wouldn't care to hear most of his work live in general. I see no need to stand in a crowd and listen to ambient music. I'd rather do something while having it on in the background.

I KNEW IT! Straight up I just started listening to her music with the latest album and I fell in love with the music immediately but I also immediately thought "I'm hearing a lot of the essence of Emmylou Harris here" (which is high praise from me, Emmylou is a legend). And then their names are even kind of similar I was wondering to myself if there's some kind of connection there. Pretty satisfying to learn she's a fan, Wrecking Ball is one of my GOAT albums as well. The music consumingg public needs as many Emmylou Harris's and Emma Ruth Rundles as we can get. And wtf she covered "All My Tears" that's sick. But all her other picks are super solid, this woman knows what's up. Those chorus vocals from Ghost in the Shell sticks with anybody who hears it forever.
