There's a literal apocalypse on earth where it's almost impossible to survive, with a lot of bloodthirsty demons walking wherever they want and killing whoever they want. Some demons can even possess you through sus methods (like what happened to Jonah Hill after he wished Jay death), so i think it's nearly impossible to survive there even if you are not targeted by demons.
