@Tormod - definitely, but visually you really want the singer's mouth to be visible - and usually they make sure it is. Just having the mic a couple of centimetres lower would be an obvious fix. (Maybe she wore taller shoes in the final rehearsal!)

Our best day Come and listen to the light as the day breaks. The sun lifts its trumpet to its mouth. Listen to white butterflies wing beats. Cause this day may be our best day. The path we walked yesterday is just as new. As secret as at our first morning break. Much will we meet and much will we master. This day may be our best day. Come and listen to the deep as we row towards day. Hear the jellyfish tune its strings. Full of promise is the tone in a fish ripple. Cause this day may be our best day. Our fjord is just as new and blue and shiny. Your eye is free and your back just as straight. Much will we meet and much will we master. The day tomorrow may be our best day. The day tomorrow may be our best day.

I think The Voice Norway judges are actually paying more attention to the music then other countries. They are very patient, calm and listening to every second of performance. Some The Voice judges are loudly singing along and being just annoying and can't hear anything from the artist.

Emma Wik, Mina Lund are rare singers with rare voices. I often turn here to listen them again and again. Even myself don't know a word in Norwegian. It could be great if the channel administrator can show the lyrics in English too. I did myself a translate with the help of online translator and hopefully this below is ok. Our Best Day Come and listen to the light at dawn the sun raises his trumpet to his mouth Listen to the beat of white butterflies' wings This day could be our best day The path we walked yesterday is just as new secret as at our first dawn We have to face many things and many things we have to master Today can be our best day Come and listen to the deep as we row towards shore Hear the jellyfish tune its strings Booming is the tone of a fishing watch This day could be our best day Our fjord is as new and blue and shiny Your gaze is free and your back straight We have to face many things and many things we have to master Today can be our best day Beloved listen to the darkness when our day is gone Night hums over feathery hills The day has given us many things, big and small more can happen than we have understood The moon over yard and roof is as new but is silent about our next dawn We have to face many things and many things we have to master Tomorrow will be our best day

Erik Bye was actually born in New York's "Norwegian" district of Brooklyn. His father was an opera singer and, like many singers, had to go to the United States to get engagement. Then came the stock market crash and prolonged depression, and when Erik was six years old, the family returned to Norway. He was a versatile Norwegian-American journalist, artist, author, film actor, folk singer, lyricist and radio and television personality. He was one of the 20th century's most well-known and popular radio and television figures in Norway. In 1978 the King of Norway made him a Knight, 1st Class in the Royal Norwegian Order of St. Olav. In 2005 he was voted the third greatest Norwegian of the 20th century by the viewers of NRK, behind King Olav V and Einar Gerhardsen. Bye was well known for his support of Norwegian sailors. He also spent much time helping the Norwegian Society for Sea Rescue and their cause, raising funds for a brand new rescue ship in 1960, Skomvær II, which was named after the barque Skomvær in Bye's song "Skomværvalsen." The society also named one of their rescue vessels after the artist. This song «Vår beste dag» was released when he was 77 yers old, on his last album in 2003, a year before he died. The other aong covered in The Voice «Blå salme» was from the same album.

Natten nynner over fjærne åser. Kilde: Musixmatch

@wowlightshadow2 жыл бұрын
@gentgames93792 жыл бұрын
