Emma has taught me that it is perfectly fine spending an entire day or week just laying in bed doing absolutely nothing. @amysmyth Because we’re an island 😂 Island Time is a notion that people who live on islands (smaller places) have a laid back attitude towards time and everything in general (“down the road” can literally be any distance at all. “the other day” might have been three months ago- who knows but it’s not relevant to the story I’m telling 😂. “It’ll be grand” “Sure look!”). I only draw the comparison to Ireland coz she’s 50% Irish but she’s also Californian. I’d say big cities like LA are just too constantly stimulating and she probably needs a more chill environment but be able to access the fun of them all the same.

Charles River Coffee House in Natick. it’s my favorite coffee spot with a beautiful park to sit at. 3. Any farmers market 4. All the art museums are great. 5. One of the many things I love about your videos is how you capture your adventures. You seem so filled with wonderment and appreciation for being where you are, taking in each moment fully present, feeling free. The way you capture your experiences reminds me of my early 20’s. I moved to from a smaller city to the Bay Area, and each day I lived there it was such a visceral experience, for better or worse. I lived in Southern California at several different parts in my life, and I actually quite enjoyed it. From what I understand about LA, what makes it so unbearable are the people. People tend to be extremely self-obsessed, narcissistic, superficial, fake, and thirsty to 'make it' - either in the entertainment industry, the business world, or whatever else. These people will do anything to get their foot in the door, which fosters a seedy underworld. People lose sense of their values and woman are very much objectified. A lot of people who move to LA to start a career often say that it's fun and interesting for a year or two, but in time becomes emotionally draining. There are only so many parties to go to and women to run through before the excitement wears off. LA and the State of California in general also has a massive problem with leadership and governance. Taxes are insane and there exist a huge problem with homelessness. Not to mention, the cost of living is astronomical. The divide between the rich and the poor is widening and the middle class is slowly eroding away. Like I said, it's beautiful and there are tons of things to do. Beaches, nature, fantastic weather, entertainment out the wazoo...but it absolutely comes at a premium. Personally, I would much rather visit than live there.

Okay Emma Hear me out pls: So you have a 4 million dollar house in LA, sell that house you are so young! Buy a Condo in LA for 2 million still get that young feeling of living in an apartment/condo penthouse whatever the case is Then buy a 2 million dollar apartment in NYC, so you live in each location for as long as you want. You travel so much to Europe being in NYC part time may be great for you so you can just hop on a flight and be 5 hours away from London At the end of the day you are a fashion influencer, so having that extra NYC apartment will give you extra space for clothes, stylists to come and for brands to send you PR and clothes. I think this is a great idea. Even if she doesn't buy an apartment in NY, ditch that 4 mill house in LA, however, it will only increase in value as she gets older and if she has the cash I now say keep it. Lease a place in NY for awhile then buy. 2 mill in NY would get her a cracker box, but a really nice one. But overall, I love the idea of having two locations. West and East. And for young people, yes, she is an influencer for sure. If I were younger I would take a lot of her advise. xoxo

She’s recently completely changed her aesthetic to a lot more relaxed and chilled and she seems pretty set on it, I think that’s why she films herself doing mundane things and not “living the life” cause it fits the vibe. It wouldn’t make sense if she was super upbeat and hyper and I think she’s quite aware of that.
