My grandmother has been a lifelong cruise afficionado. She took us on one once, when I was 17 and thus too old for most of the "kids" activities and too young for the "adult" ones. It soured my view on cruises such that I've not been interested in the decades since, but @EmmaCruises has videos that expose me to a passion for the pursuit that, at least, makes cruising seem less sterile and bland than the experience I recall. Yet more consistently than that, she makes it look fun and enticing, something I never thought I'd be typing about a cruise in my life. ... of course, I type that while she's trying to justify ketchup on pizza, so take my praise with a grain of salt, maybe I've lost touch with reality ;)

For the Aquatheatre swimmers, there are scuba divers always in the water during the shows. So when the swimmers go underwater and stay underwater, they have breathing apparatus gear right there for everyone to breathe into. It’s really a neat setup.

These are amazing ships, but I like the more "in touch with the ocean" approach that NCL and Carnival have taken with their new-builds. And having the main buffet close at 2 pm on embark day borders on criminal. :)

Awesome vlog on my favorite cruise ship. My first cruise ever was on Symphony and I fell in love with cruising on that ship. Our room was in Central Park, at night it was so beautiful hearing the live music and looking at the lights around the plants. This ship is amazing.

We loved our cruise on the Symphony. We did not feel overwhelmed . Loved how they spread out all the casual dining and activities. The shows were awesome, my husband had many opportunities to try the Flowrider. I watched Hairspray twice.We loved Johnny Rockets free breakfast, the Doghouse and the taco casual eatery…so good.

I just got off of Symphony of the seas, and I gotta say it was AMAZING!!! We did get the upper hand on this cruise mainly because we got a loft suite, the suite had 2 floors and 2 bathrooms and it came with free Wi-fi to! But what really top the cake was the costal kitchen and the the suite lounge with that, all of this was located on deck 17. Also note that there is also a suite deck up by the very front of the ship. It looks over the solarium. Overall I had a great time on this cruise! One of the best experiences of my 12 years of life!

I am so happy to know that heat wave there does not mean hot. LOL I am traveling to the Mediterranean next year in Summer and worried about heat, but 86 is heavenly. Nothing tops Texas and Arizona heat waves. We are currently at 109 daily. 86 would be refreshing and maybe even a bit chilly if swimming. Love your videos!

The water shows are different. The Wonder has an all woman water show. The Wonder does not have a Broadway show. The setup is a little different on both ships. I sailed on both. Though Emma, you are correct on how they look identical. The Utopia and Wonder are going to look similar.

i agree about the late arrivals for the shows. the cruise i just went on was even worse as there were no seats left people were standing up and down the main isles and blocking views for those sitting towards the back. no crew in site to help.
