Columbia Road flower market is the place to find any plant. The banana plant is easily found on many stalls and the bird paradise might be at the end of the road, on the corner shop (on the left). Looking forward to seeing how the indoor garden looks like!

Oh I never thought of that! I use a balm to take my make up off (usually Oskia gel) and it comes off right away but I'm not sure about other make up removers! Would be such a shame if you can't use it cause it's so good!!x
