I always accept the consequences of my choices in these games but after The Incident™ I straight up Alt+F4ed and restarted the whole episode because I was sure it must be possible to save Mushroom 😭😭 Turns out it all happens anyway. I love these games. 🗿 edit: finished the ep now, what a ride. Chris got hit by the cop car in my playthrough, I'm so glad Daniel stepped in in yours!! 😭

This is one of the very few episodes of Life is Strange that just downright pissed me off. Why put the dog in the game in the back half of the last episode only to kill it off in one of the worst ways basically at the beginning of episode 2. It’s just sooooo cruel and unnecessary. It wasn’t needed at all. I’m gonna skip all of it and just watch from after it all happens cause I literally just lost my Dog two weeks ago and that wound is very fresh still.

I’m sorry you lost your dog recently as sad as it was, Mushroom died early to give Daniel a lesson in learning if revenge is ok or not which he will remember as this choice severely impacts how Daniel acts throughout the game. She was introduced to die but not in a bad narrative motivation.
