We live in St Albans, an old Roman town with nearly 2,000 years of history, about an hour away from London, a city with over 2,000 years of history. We have friends in Barcelona, Paris and Lisbon, outstanding cities of beauty like London, which are less than a two hour flight away. We holiday twice a year, in summer and winter for skiing to places like Italy, Spain, France, Greece and Cyprus. We get 28 day’s holiday a year each, paid for by our employers. We can afford to do these things because we don’t need to provide for health insurance. I am type 2 diabetic and the state pays for all my treatments and medication. It’s too late for me, but men now also get 6 weeks paternity leave too.
