Fun fact! Eboue was one of the best right backs in the league before Wenger inexplicably bought in Sagna and tried to push Eboue forward to right wing. He was never the same player after Sagna came

@edstar7167 yes Fabregas too. Even fan favourites like Wilshere, Cazorla, Theo, Ramsey etc were plagued by injury and we seem doomed even now. Arshavin Ozil and Sanchez were quality but after Eduardo horror injury at Bham 2008, we just seemed doomed forever more - it had already been 4 years since Invincibles but there had seemed genuine promise we were well on the way to being a special team again incl 2008 PL champions but we were just Top 4 after that. Whilst I'm sure City will go on a run and get Top 4 this season, you wonder to what effect Rodri's injury against us could have long term for them. They've been a machine about as long as Wenger made us a force to interrupt Fergie's dynasty but could that have come to an abrupt end? We'll see I guess.
