Emmanuel Saina from Kenya wins the Mens side of the 2021 Honolulu Marathon with the time of 2:14:30. He has a personal best of 2:05:02 in the marathon and 1:01:20 in the Half Marathon. In his previous starts this year, Saina placed 15h in the Milano Marathon in May and finished fifth in the Rotterdam Marathon on Oct. 24
Ruebon Kerio of Kenya was also in the race but dropped out at the 8km mark due to stomach problems.
Lanni Marchant of Canada won the womens side of the 2021 Honolulu marathon with the time of 2:41:20. Lanni is a Olympian; doubled in the 10,000m (25th) and marathon (24th)in 2016 in Rio. PB 2:28:00, Toronto, 2013 (former Canadian record)

In addition, Tyler Byers of Spokane, Wash., won the men’s wheelchair division in 1:42:57. Chelsea Stein of Tucson, Arizona won the women’s division in 2:33:00.
