heard this today at school concert.. so impressed and finding right away now! I think the harmony of marimba and the strings is amazing.. which seems discordant in some sense..

I think that may have been one of the most beautiful things I've ever heard.

Hello, two thoughts. A great and exciting composition expertly played.. (so many of the marimba offerings on KZbin is far out new age "stuff',) this though is music! And the audio was very well balanced as I see stereo mics hung above.. no need for a dozen mics all over the stage. Thank you for your offering. Paul

Phenomenal job. An amazing interpretation of a beautiful piece. What mallets are you using? They have very nice dark quality about them that seems perfect for this piece.

it depends from instrument...I change the sticks if I play not on the yamaha...for this marimba model I use Albert model.

mallets used?

it looks to me that you are not totally comfortable with your grip, especially when you readjust your hands during every break (slightly exaggerating) . a grip is a grip, it gets the job done of playing the correct notes, as long as you are totally comfortable using it.
