I knew a man named Emmanuel: we were coworkers who after a period of time ended up falling for one another. But the both of us weren’t at the right place spiritually, emotionally to be together. It was a difficult and painful and confusing relationship for the both of us. Even saying his name ushered in pain for me. I’ve been praying for his return to Jesus ever since I started to know him (about a year and a half or so) and tonight as I sat listening to both Abbie and the crowd sing the word “Emmanuel” over and over, I felt like God whispered to my soul “this is what I’m singing over Him.” I got this image of all of heaven calling out his name in prayer and worship and I was reminded of the scripture of the shepherd who goes after the one lost sheep. I’m not sure why I’m sharing this but I hope it encourages you to keep praying and interceding for those in your life. He pursues the lost sheep until he finds it. He doesn’t give up his search, it’s we who give up...both on ourselves and on others. But to Jesus, each person is his personal creation and they matter so much more than we’ll ever comprehend fully on earth. We, the Church matter to Him. The ones we love who are lost matter to Him. ❤️

I've been playing this song over and over and this past few months and last week Monday our home burned while we were in it but i was fortunate enough to see the smoke in time and we managed to put the fire down even though it damaged my brother and mother's room. It's only been 8 months since my Mom's passing and only 3 weeks since my nephew got stabbed to death and we buried him. We could have died in that fire but i can testify that there was a fourth man in that fire, it could have been worse but my God saved us. Our Heavenly Father still performs miracles and His presence is forever with us. Oooh How I Love Him and forever thankful for His faithfulness 🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽Emmanuel 😍
