Louis said something profound about Abraham, and that is God directing him without a map, and so he had to be connected daily to receive instructions and navigate. Maintaining daily connection is a vital part of our devotion, and so we don't pray only when we feel like praying. Your real security is your vibrant connection and not what you know. Your energy level can be seen spiritually. Maintain daily connection!!! What pushes us to idolatry is when we begin to get tired of waiting. Shun broken systems that holds no water, and so be ready because daily connection will weaken your flesh. It is not how long you pray but how well you pray. Your streak is the most important. You make devotion easy by going to church, setting an alarm, and having friends that can help your prayer life. Be accountable to a spiritual authority. You must wait upon the Lord. A lot is at stake if you're not serious. I AM NOT A DISCIPLE WITHOUT DISCIPLINE!!!

This was very needed. Right from yesterday’s sermon My problem is, I have set an alarm to pray 5-15 mins every hour, but when the alarm goes off, I’m either engrossed in work or doing smth else and I never know how to start the prayers. I like to play sermons all through the day as I work, but I duno how to “start” the prayer. I could pray randomly throughout the day and when Im prompted in my spirit, but that discipline for non-random moments is what In trying to build.
