Ross and I had an interesting (somewhat frustrating) experience getting all the LEGO sets on our list! We went to the LEGO website that crashed at midnight trying to get a few things, and then went to the LEGO Store release day for LEGO Star Wars Day (May the 4th)! We were tired but had a fun time :) Excited to build our new Star Wars LEGO sets soon!
Also - come find us in New Orleans on May 4th! We are attending the Bricks & Minifigs Grand Opening there, doing a meet & greet and checking out the new store!

I’m from New Orleans, when I first found out you were coming, I got super excited! Can’t wait to meet you both! You’ll be Coming down during Jazz Festival . I’m not sure if bourbon Street is your type of scenery but I guess it’s something to try. Just be safe. New Orleans at night can be a little hectic. I think the French Quarter is more your vibe. Also pack for hot weather lol. Lakeside Mall has our only lego store which is not far from where the new bricks and minifigs will be.

Nice haul! Happy May 1st and early Star Wars day! I stayed up till 4am trying to get my order through. The website was crashing and I just ended up giving up. I woke back up at 8am and called customer service and they helped me put my orders through. I got all the promos including the ones online. Those being the 25th anniversary art print and coin. Super happy I got everything I wanted! I actually found out that the art print promo online is already sold out. Absolutely crazy! I saw someone on eBay selling it for $100

Customer service from LEGO is always so so good! I'm glad they were able to help you out AND you got the promos! I didn't know the coin sold out already! That's wild! I think we were able to get ours already from Ross's order (I hope)!

@@Emmasaurus They are really good! Shoutout to Lego Customer Service! It was actually the art print that sold out. I honestly wouldn’t be surprised if the coin sells out as well tbh. I’m glad I got the art print! I ended up getting the New Republic E-Wing Vs Shin Hati’s Starfighter since that set is retiring and it’s 4X VIP Points so huge incentive to get that. Then I also added on 2 Clone Trooper and Battle Droid Battle Packs. Can’t go wrong with more of those. Definitely need to army build!

I just waited till Wednesday morning to order the UCS AT-AT and got the GWP with no problem, just shipped today. Went to the Lego store Friday for the midi scale Millennium Falcon, R2D2, and the Commander Cody Bick head and got a second set of GWP.

Hey guy's, im in Australia so we are a day ahead of you & i stayed up till midnight to get my order,i jumped back online a bit later & it was crashing & the coin gwp was gone ,im glad i ordered early & got 2 of each gwp,the coin & poly bag come with the book not the troop carrier

It seems a lot of clever patient people waited till now to buy the corusant gun ship. If you pair it up with the new brickheadz set it gets you just over the threshold for all the gwp's. I wasn't one of those people. I never believed lego were going to discount the gun ship. Think it's going to have to be brickheadz, droideka and sith infiltrator. The phantom menace brickheadz are the must have though. The colours are spectacular on those figures. Also it was the last star wars endor heroes that got me into brickheadz in the first place.

My first ever release day experience was March 1st of this year, i didn't know what to expect. I was surprised there was a line I don't know why, maybe because i thought i got their pretty early. Nothing compared to line you had. It was like 30 people max everyone for sure got what they came for. Im gear up for June 1 I need those speed champions among other things. I Already took that day off.

Hi! It's usually pretty slow during the week days, but Saturday/Sunday can get a little busy! As long as it's not the first of the month, there shouldn't be any wait at all :)
