You really need to stop being so hard on yourself 😭The most relatable content and the reason people watch you is because you’re human and you act like a normal human being who has normal feelings, normal problems and you are more than entitled to take your time for yourself. No one is going to be 100% all of the time and it’s so hard and exhausting to strive for that constantly. I completely feel you. Me and my boyfriend feel burnt out from work, and like we spend no time together. We have decided to book next Friday off, drop our puppy at doggy day care and just spend the day on the sofa eating and watching movies. Some times I think you need it !

I think, on top of just pandemic life and winter blues, we're all a bit exhausted because a lot of us haven't really taken a "holiday" in about a year. I don't mean that in terms of going away anywhere, I literally just mean that in terms of a bit of time off longer than a weekend or a day here and there! It's not healthy to work 5 days a week, 52 weeks of the year but with nowhere to go, most of us haven't bothered taking proper "time off". I know personally, I feel like there's nothing to do so ALL I do is work, especially since I'm freelance so I can build my own schedule. I ended up in a rhythm of working seven days a week, late into the night and then wondered why I was falling apart 🤦🏼‍♀️I think we're all guilty of putting so much pressure on ourselves to go about as normal with the world in bits around us so, to whoever might be reading this, HI TAKE A BREAK SWEETIE, YOU'RE DOING GREAT, YOUR TO DO LIST WILL STILL BE THERE TOMORROW xxx

I hope you never feel the need to fake doing well with us. I've honestly had a horrible week. Seasonal depression has been kicking my butt. Life is kicking my butt. It's been really hard. It helps to know I'm not the only one struggling. If you feel like you need to take some time off we'll understand. I think it's good to take time sometimes to help ourselves. I would miss seeing your content but totally worth it to know you are taking care of yourself. I'm glad you try and be honest with us. It helps a lot of us. So do what's best for you! And we'll be here when you are ready to come back. Sending you say many positive vibes and hugs! ❤️

Definitely recommend going on the mini pill (progesterone only contraceptive pill). I used to be the same as you and my period would literally effect me for a full week every month. Since being on the mini pill i’ve not had ANY symptoms or a period since and it also doubles up as a contraceptive. So win-win x

Girl!!! I have been binge watching your videos for 2 days. Please take this as a sign to talk to your doctor! I recently have been put on Zoloft after suffering for 2-3 years now w/ what I'm convinced is PMDD.

I would wake up about a week before with severe anxiety. It would last 2-3 days. Now, I've been on the meds for 3 weeks. My period starts this week. So far No stress, mostly just extra tired. I'm hoping this is the start of some normality. Wishing you the best of luck, it is so hard to get answers when it's hormonal or chemical imbalance

Some other things that really helped me were blocking social media apps after 9pm. That way I'm less likely to spend hours on social media and lose sleep. And I just found a good book called Burnout, By Emily and Amelia Nagoski.

Hey Emma, this is probs a bit tmi but I am on a pill that stops my periods because of how painful they are and I would highly recommend it if that would work for you! As I was the same, used to have to be off work and college from the pains and my mood was rubbish for quite a while! So I’d definitely speak to your doctor about it, if it’s possible, definitely worth considering!! X

Congratulations girl :) on your fitness journey anniversary. I have hit my one year on my weight release journey Feb 2020/ Feb 2021 -67 pounds down from 222 pounds definitely have changed my relationship with food. It is all about self-discipline to keep going on this journey. I first came across your channel via your weight loss video. Watching weight loss videos have helped to keep me on track best of luck everybody on the journey consistency will pay off!!

I’ve also felt so crap this last 2 weeks. I think it’s the weather, lockdown and just everything balled into one making us all feel rubbish. I’m on the pill Cerazette, took me a long time to find a pill that works for me but I used to struggle with periods so bad that I would have seizures, with this pill I don’t have a period at all, I haven’t had spotting or anything and I feel so lucky that I don’t have to go through all the pain anymore! The last pill I was on made me have my period for a YEAR STRAIGHT and the doctors wouldn’t take me seriously and told me to ‘exercise’... luckily found a doctor who took me seriously and now I’m the happiest:)) xx

Over this lock down I’ve been staying with my boyfriend and we’ve been watching drag race and he too loves it. Makes me so happy. It’s my feel good show for when I feel crappy. And we sing that main cat walk song all the time when we are cooking in the kitchen.

Never apologise for feeling a bit down! Always look forward to the vlogs no matter what mood you’re in. Also, that bloody bake off box! I hope next months is less stressful! I would definitely recommend spreading bakes over a few days, way less stressful and you don’t end up with too much washing up all at once.

I feel you with the period stresses. I get completely scattered the first few days and changing my birth control did help. (That’s just for me though) but I’m glad to see people open about it! So many people just act like they don’t get periods, when it’s normal and natural. Break the stigma!
