Verity is an absolute banger! It's a twisty psychological thriller that keeps you gripped. A bit freaky but not too bad (in my opinion! Ha!) I'm really in my psychological thriller era and Verity is a book I always recommend and I always think about. If you love romance, try It Ends With Us and It Starts With Us. It's romance with some sad, almost tragic events along the way!

These vlogs are my longest relationship and I love that 😂❤️ I'm loving that you're getting into reading! Verity is incredible, I read it in one sitting, I could NOT put it down! Alone With You In The Ether is the most stunning book, it's a favourite for sure! I would recommend Throne of Glass if you're wanting a new series as well, it's so much better than ACOTAR and I bloody love ACOTAR. I even got a TOG tattoo🫶❤️

Happy 200th vlog!!! ❤ I really enjoyed Verity, it’s an interesting psychological thriller and keeps you guessing until the very end. I also looooved Fourth Wing (the second one wasn’t as good though, rushed publication imo, but still very entertained by the story!). I’d say Sally Rooney books are amazing as well but definitely slower reads than Acotar so it really depends on the vibe you’re going for hahah

I read the fourth wing series after ACOTAR and it was great. I then read the Crescent City series next and the Throne of Glass series last and I absolutely loved all of them.

I’d recommend the Throne of Glass series (also by SJM) if you’re looking for fantasy with a side of romance…it’s definitely a slower build than ACOTOR and less spicy BUT is my favorite of her three series.

I just got the ACOTAR 1st book for my birthday and I can’t wait to read it. I personally would have a pause (I did and I needed it!), but throne of glass is 8 books and they get CHONKY! I also found it took until the third book for me to get hooked? So maybe go for Fourth Wing! I flew through it and still need to read Iron Flame!

Just a heads up there is a BIG BIG difference between a romance and a love story 😭 I loved alone with you in the ether but it’s not the vibe of a smutty romance 😅 I’d recommend the plated prisoner series and fourth wing for more fantasy romance ❤️‍🔥 and if you want pure romance, Abby jiminez is amazing!!

I am on the same ACOTAR book. I am addicted and don’t want it to end. 😭 Verity is amazing and I devoured it in like 2 days. It is riveting! I always read a book like that in between my fantasy series books! Definitely read 4th Wing and Iron Flame, both are so great. Then you will be all caught up for when the third book, Onyx Storm is released in January 2025. 🤩

As a fellow ADHD book worm - I suggest you read stand alones between your series, otherwise you'll have book burnout and not read for months *from sad experience*. Fourth Wing is so good, I love it! A stand alone I think you'd be obsessed with is the invisible life of Addie Larue, but don't read anything about it before you start just go in completely blind it's so good!

Throne of glass is my favourite SJM series. If you don’t enjoy the first two, it changes a lot from the third book and is more mature. I would take a break with some standalone novels bc idk I normally get tired by the end of like the third series. Also Sally Rooney is the goat.
