For the white cardigan try and use doubles sided tape (there’s some made for clothes)!! It does wonders girl, i use it a lot for button up shirts that create that gap ;)

for the gaping problem with the cardigan: maybe try sewing the fabric between the buttons? and when you put it on/take it off you don't unbutton it but slide it over your head like every other top

I’m a size 18 and I’ve had the same issues in finding a advent pair of faux leather trousers/leggings. I think the reason for the knee stitching is some real leather trousers often have seams on the knee, due to the size of the leather swathes/skin. So the faux trouser emulate the look. I’m not sure the royal blue is a great colour to my mind it looks a little cheap, the colour that is. Now if it was a midnight blue 🫐
