Which is how qui gon is a force ghost and Kenobi and explains what happened to Obiwan in episode 4. When a Jedi who knows how to become a force ghost “dies” their body vanishes because they still have their physical form as a ghost

@@EntertainmentFan11 I don't think it's really a retcon. Actually the fact that Anakin can appear as a force ghost presumably because he's the "Chosen One" he didn't even NEED the training to reappear. I think the fact that you "need training" to reappear as a force ghost doesn't probably apply to ALL JEDI. We also don't know for sure that the dissapearance of a body when a Jedi dies is a guarantee they can return as a force ghost right away. I think the the force ghost appearance has to do more with a state of mind and being then it does training. Similar to how the Dark Side users can channel hate to keep themselves alive exact revenge and other evils. I would suppose that Light Side users through Hope and Love could keep their essence alive to influence the living through that love and hope. They would become agents of the light side basically. Fully incorruptible and therefore able to manifest to support the cause of the light.

Finally, someone notices and mentions how Anakin also heard Qui-Gon. Just another testament to him being the Chosen one aka the most powerful Force user.
@illegalquantity Жыл бұрын
He's not at all the most powerful Force user. There are many who are more powerful. Palpatine, Yoda, Dooku, Ventress, Maul, Opress, Obi-Wan, Windu. They all would beat him in a duel. He could barely beat Bariss, who wasn't even a knight at the time. What if Bariss was already a master? Anakin is simply raw and aggressive. This, together with the use of the Force, of course makes him strong, but not as strong as most people think. He's stronger than the other Jedi I didn't mention though.

Remember in the end of Revenge of the Sith, Yoda told Kenobi about this, that Qui-Gon Jin had learned "the secret to immortality" this is what he meant, to maintain ones individuality while still be part of the living force. After Yoda now "unlocks" this ability, Yoda, Obi-Wan and those who may follow after all learn this. order 66 happened before the rest of the council could learn this however,

•The Scipio Arc was the one that most highlighted how the Sith were playing both sides of the Clone Wars, that neither the Republic nor the CIS were meant to win and the whole purpose of the war was to increase the power of the executive, ie Palpatine's power. •Funny enough, in the Nick show Fanboy and Chum Chum, there is a character called Janitor Russ Poopatine, who is very much a parody of Emperor Palpatine. •To bring up a quote from Star Trek, "Villains who twirl their mustaches are easy to spot; those who clothe themselves in good deeds are well camouflaged." Palpatine is the greatest manipulator in fiction and a master of hiding his true self from ever the best of the Jedi. •We have, but you may not have. You will see something similar in The Empire Strikes Back, but I dare not say anymore to avoid spoilers. •Indeed, the Pykes sided with Maul's Shadow Collective. They are the galaxy's primary spice dealers and a good example of "getting high on your own supply." •If eating incests is a problem, maybe avoid a certain episode of the Star Wars: Clone Wars series made in 2003-2005 (Samurai Jack-style animation). •So for background, Dooku and Syfo-Dyas were friends within the Jedi Order. He believed Syfo-Dyas's visions and after his death, Dooku took over overseeing the production of the Clone Army, even picking Jango Fett as the clone template. •In short, the Jedi came to learn that Dooku was behind the clones and that something fishy was going on, but it was too late to prevent Order 66. Furthermore, this series made Order 66 more tragic, as it humanized the clones and made us get to know them. •Liam Neeson also provided the voice for Aslan in the Narnia films (highly recommend) •Put the warrior part aside, the Jedi are still monks. •"Why spiders? Why couldn't it be, 'follow the butterflies?'" - Ron Weasley and pretty much all arachnophobes.

I don't think they get chosen randomly or anything... Qui Gon just chose to tell the secret to eternal "life" he discovered to Yoda because he knew he could trust him 100% and Yoda then again instructed Obi Wan for the same reason... Also Obi Wan was kinda one of the last Jedi left... They both taught Anakin the secret just before his death after he defeated the dark side in him...
@benjaminroe311ify Жыл бұрын
I agree... The way I understand it in my head canon. Is the living force has both a light and dark side. When the living force feels itself coming out of balance with the dark it will "Choose" agents if you will of the light side to be able to retain some of their individuality after death and influence the cause of light. Qui Gonn being one... Yoda and Obi Wan and Anakin being others. Anakin being a very special case of course. The amount of deep lore that comes from Clone Wars and Rebels and such is lost on those that never watch these shows. Also some of it has been lost on the makers of the Sequel movies. They didn't respect the lore much either... They did some though. Some of it fits.

How fitting it is that Yoda uses Anakin to help him leave Coruscant to follow Qui_Gonn's advice to learn the knowledge he would need later to help train Luke to then save Anakin in the end. Incredibly poetic.

The scene where Shaak Ti is stabbed through the back by a lightsaber (21:17) is actually a deleted scene from Revenge of the Sith, there's a couple versions of it, one where she was captured with Chancellor Palpatine by Grievous and is killed by him near the start and another during Anakin's attack on the Jedi temple, she was deep in meditation which allowed Anakin to sneak up behind her. Neither of these scenes made the cut in the movie and for a long time we were unsure how she perished during Order 66, however the Bad Batch brought closure to this question in season 1 episode 1, it's likely she was the Jedi being carried away on the stretcher when the Bad Batch returned to Kamino because we know she was the Jedi assigned to oversee operations on Kamino so it's likely that that's where she would've been during Order 66.

The Clone Wars bucks the trend of most show, which tend to start out really strong and get progressively worse. TCW is the opposite where it start of very slow and childish and just improves exponentially with each season, raising the bar in every aspect from story, visuals, character development, scope, size and ambition as the show grows, with its final few episodes being some of the best Star Wars ever made.

Honestly Dooku VS Anakin and Obi-Wan in 6x10 is defenetly one of the best lightsaber duels in all of Star Wars. You can see how powerful and masterful duelist Dooku is, he put Anakin (who is more into attack) into defense and Obi-Wan (who always fight with defense) into offense, you can even see how they struggle to fight Dooku at that point of the fight.
@crownprincesebastianjohano70692 жыл бұрын
This fight underlines how much Dooku was toying with Anakin in their other duels during the series. He had been taking it every easy on him, testing him, and still easily overpowering him each time with the exception of the kick Anakin got in during the second duel on Naboo. This is much closer to Dooku taking a duel seriously. One notes that all the traditional disadvantages people ascribe to Dooku are also nonsense: "Dooku is not fast and he tires easily." Welp, like with Yoda and Sidious, his extreme power in the Force allows him to move much faster than men 1/3 his age and to do impressive feats of acrobatics. It fuels him and after all the energy expended in the duel, when the Pykes arrive it is clear he was no where near tired and was actually just getting into the moment. A Dooku giving his all is a terrifyingly powerful duelist, combined with his peerless skill with a blade, one sees why Plageuis feared him, Sidious was wary and how he was able to stalemate , and wound Yoda (AOTC and on Vjun) and Mace (the canon Duel on Ridley). One also notes that Dooku clearly spares Obi-Wan when he knees him in the gut. He has grabbed Obi-Wan's swordarm and there was absolutely nothing preventing him from running him through the chest.

Emme, my dear, I love your energy! But yes, ALL of Season 7 is going to be a "must watch". It all connects (and honestly, I want to see your reactions to those episodes), especially since you still need to watch The Bad Batch, and I'm guessing the final 4 episodes will make you want to watch Revenge of the Sith again. That's just a feeling I have. Of course, I've seen all of this already (and fairly recently on a rewatch).... so I know what's coming. As I always say, I won't give out spoilers, but for timeline perspective, I can tell you that all of season 7 leads directly into Revenge of the Sith. It is a relatively short season, compared to the previous ones, so please do consider filming them all. If nothing else, you'll have them recorded if you believe they are worthy to be edited and released. If you don't, you can feel free to call me an "idiot" and just delete the footage. I won't be upset. Promise. Anyway.... the timeline from the start of season 7, runs into Revenge of the Sith. Then The Bad Batch picks up from there (we still only have the first season, but season 2 IS coming). Then Solo, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Andor (again, the first season is still being released with 3 episodes left at this moment, but we are about 16 hours away from getting episode 10 of 12 released). Then Rebels (part of which WILL run concurrently to Andor season 2 (which is beginning production). Then Rogue One, A New Hope, Empire Strikes Back, Return of the Jedi, The Mandalorian (seasons 1 & 2), Book of Boba Fett, (Mandalorian season 3 is coming in February), (The as yet unfinished Ahsoka series, I think it's in Post-Production at this point), then the Sequel Trilogy. As much as it may seem overwhelming to a newcomer, I am actually slightly jealous of you younger people. Yeah, I saw "Star Wars" (before being subtitled A New Hope) in theaters in 1977... but that was all we had at the time. Toys weren't yet available (not until mid 1978)... then we got that horrendous "Star Wars Holiday Special", which (minor spoiler here) The Mandalorian literally re-canonized. George Lucas wanted to find and destroy every copy of it, wiping it from existence... but nope. It's still out there, and Disney made it Canon again. You can find it on KZbin, as it's not on Disney+... but if you DO decide to watch it, I recommend either lots of alcohol, or some strong drugs. It was made in 1978, remember? Edit: POOPatine... OMG that is hilarious! How did *I* not think of that one! You had me rolling, girl! I even disturbed the cat sleeping on my lap as I watched this, I laughed so hard!

It's a shame, as his entire filmography is amazing and I feel like a lot of people skip certain films, like Ponyo, Kiki's Delivery Service and My Neighbor Totoro, thinking they are going to be too childish, and boy are they wrong! Top arc in the Clone Wars. Disliked that Qui-Gon Jinn appeared as a force ghost in the Kenobi series as it is stated in this arc that his training was incomplete when Yoda asked if he could manifest himself to him. The fact he could train himself after death to make an apparition cheapens the concept of a force ghost as much as a certain scene in the Sequel trilogy.
