He needs a friend to fill the void Adam has left. I think Mack might be that than a romantic love interest but kind like Adam and Aaron can feel chem between them which sparks people about Mack and Aaron sort like did with Adam and Aaron but Mack like Adam is straight.

Charity and Mack were trying to be there for Chas but they just made things worse. It was good that Moira stopped Cain. If Charity would only listen her own advice too. But easier to said than done - and easier to say to someone else. Mack's making himself useful.
