Exactly Charity made one drunken pass at her daughters cheating ex yes she fucked up however so did Vanessa she pushed both Charity and Tracy away ghosted them for months more or less I don't agree with cheating but I can understand why she did it . Then the clan and Chas pushed her out and was warned not to do business with Al but no they wanted to keep him close and play it out and it cost them dearly

It's like if a Dingle tries to do better , Chas acts like they aren't part of the family anymore ! And maybe how Aaron treated her has an effect on her to. We see in soaps how when kids treat their not so great people , parents like trash, they become worse in personailty.

An honest question. What is the point of Chas as a character on the show? I can’t think of any. She sucks the life and joy out of every scene. There are way too many Dingles around, and she seems to be the most expendable one. Meena murdering her on her way to Billy and Dawn’s wedding would be lovely. Lucy Pargeter herself even said recently that she struggled to think of a role for her character without the Woolpack. A once decent and entertaining character has been completely destroyed and boxed in by very bad writing.
