I enjoyed seeing the advertisements for these in another upload today. I don't think that it is worth the trouble of editing them out when you provide the uploads of full programmes (which are most welcome - thank you). Their inclusion adds to the period broadcasting context of an old programme, and always enhances the pleasure of watching it.

People forget how much of a creep Eric Pollard was. What was he blackmailing Kathy over? Plus, why did Kathy go into business with him years later when she knew what he was like?

Eric & Phil Pearce had discovered that Kathy's brother, Nick, had pocketed the money from the Post Office robbery earlier that year, and they threatened Nick into breaking the law with a robbery at Home Farm on Christmas Eve... Phil tried to blackmail Nick with £1000 to keep his mouth shut, but he refused.
