They actually do behave like that in a situation like this, where lots of people are or may be injured, and they have to prioritise casualties. It’s standard triage procedure in these situations. They did it in 9/11 too.

Sorry but the liv scene isn't that credible. If her body was as badly damaged as that she would be knocked out with meds or put into a induced coma. She wouldn't be chatting .bit far fetched.

I don't think it's necessarily unbelievable, if they know she would die anyway and this is the last chance her family would get to talk to her I don't think they would put her in an induced coma, they'd just give enough pain killers to make her comfortable until she passes like they did here. Induced comas are usually to protect the patients brain until they can get to a hospital, there would be no point to that with Liv because she would have died the moment they moved the caravan regardless.

It's happened in real life when someone was hit by a train and was crushed between the train and platform. The train was keeping him alive and the paramedics gave him a phone to call his family to say goodbye. Since as soon as he was moved he'd die.

That's called BAD writing. 911 on Fox here in the States, just last season, did an episode where a big ladder fire truck fell on a firefighter pinning him from the CHEST down and HE survived. Go watch it. This is BAD writing and a disrespectful way to send Izzy off. They could have done better.

There was a case where a man was crushed between a subway train and the platform, and the paramedics knew that once they moved the train, he would die. The main difference is that his vital organs were crushed, and the pressure of the train was the only thing that was keeping him alive.

It actually makes perfect sense. Have you ever heard of crush syndrome? It's a very real thing and I suggest googling it. When someone is pinned beneath or crushed by (hence the name) something extremely heavy, it can cause nerve damage, multi system organ failure, a release of toxins into the blood, etc. All of which can and usually do prove fatal. Obviously, every case is different, but once a certain amount of time had passed, Liv really had no chance.
