Why does it seem like the writers are making Matty’s entire personality all about being trans? Do they realise that trans people are people too and that they have other things that exist outside of being trans?

I’m going to assume it’s to get others who don’t have a friend or family member who is trans to understand some of how that goes.

@@JollyGoodJewWitch yeah, I can understand why they would want to educate the public about transgender people and the issues they face but I don’t think they should make that aspect of a character all that they are yunno. But that might just be me.
