This isn't just some mild teenage drama tiff they can just get over. Cathey abused April. She abused her niece and played the part of her friend while others terrorized April. Cathy bullied April and instigated others to bully her, she was part of a group terrorizing April and the adults are just unhappy with how the fall out is affecting them? If they really need to do something then get both girls into therapy to deal with their issues, together and separately. this isn't something that will quickly blow over Don't force the forgive forget onus on April. And Rhona should not be emotionally manipulating April like that.

i don’t think it’s the bullying that’s specifically the matter. i think it’s the topic. using Donna’s death as a way to humiliate April and make her vulnerable. if that was my daughter i’d be ashamed

@Carly Hawthorne April lost her mother and Cathy has been maliciously bullying her over it for months.... Then the adults had no repercussions for Cathy, so of course April is upset. April is the victim in this situation. Not Cathy. Cathy should of used her words and told her dad how she was feeling, not taken it out on a girl who's not only her family, but has been nothing but a friend to her.

Why are they making out like "they're just as bad as each other" when April has done nothing to Cathy! Cathy bullied her for months and violated her privacy by giving out her phone number so the bullying was constant. Telling April she needs to "get passed it"/"get over it" is so disgusting! This is the kind of behavior that causes kids to feel like they can't talk about their feelings which drives them to attempt s*ic*de. Cathy should of thought about that before she decided to maliciously bully April over the death of her mother! And then there's the emotional manipulation from Rhona. That was fucked up on so many levels! "It would mean a lot to me if you do this thing that you clearly don't want to do and that is causing you so much hurt".....Great message you're sending there Emmerdale!

Why the hell would April ever want to forgive and forget on Cathy after what she did to April over the last months?! The stuff that Cathy did to April is just ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING! Even getting other people involve and bringing up Donna to make the bullying so much worse; Cathy should be glad that April did not kill herself over this because if she had, nothing would bring April back from the dead and might have sent Marlon into another heart attack or worse, early grave and the situation would be completely UNFORGETABLE!

Poor April! I get why they wanted them to at least make some peace with each other because Cathy's a family member so she's inevitably always going to have to be part of April's life - but at the same time, putting pressure on April to forgive her bully, and while she's still dealing with the trauma from the bullying, is awful. That should be down to April to decide when she's ready to do.

This is so Emmerdale. We have wendy who plays to the victim after her son and her made the Vic's life miserable for months. Vic lost her brother because of their harassment. We have Ben who dates the guy who bullied him in a point Ben thought about suicide, and now April have to forgive Cathie?? These producers really send the wrong message in their show turning the harassers into poor victims. It's easy to say "forgive them, they are sad" but what about their victims? They aren't sad? They don't suffer of any consequences? No, instead emmerdale prefers to excuse the harassers and turning them into victims, turning their own victims into the bad ones...

I really don't like that they've done this. I get that Cathy is meant to be April's Auntie, but if I was forced to be friends with the people who bullied me back in high school, saying 'I would've hated it' is probably the understatement of the century.
