I like when they do the flashback s this one is class but cos the years iv watched Emmerdale niver really knew why Cain hated his mum but feel for her cos it was the dad s fault not her s

Pers Godiva Cain didn’t have a relationship with Shadrach he hated him (he still does even now he’s dead) And Chas didn’t see a lot, Cain and Faith hid so much from her so that’s probably why she loved her Dad.

No wonder Cain was chuffed to find find out Zak was his biological father. Yet later on down the road he considered Zak a bigger piece of shit.

Nancy Cottone No doubt. Cain used to pushed his luck with Zak many times but he always got put in his place. The last time that happened Cain swung at Zak and he retaliated by taking a Tire Iron to his face. One thing I don't get with Cain is why is it easy for him to be a father to a daughter than to sons.

I think you can kind of see it when you look at his behavior with Chas - he sees himself as a protector. And, he was able to protect Chas to a certain extent, which is why he's able to be a parent to Debbie and why he was pretty good with Sarah too. But when it comes to boys, he's worried he's going to inflict the same kind of trauma on them that Shadrach did to him.

Cain is tough because shadrach hurt him but you see how he protects his family when he needs to like going to prison for Sam and also being there for his kids and Aaron. He might seem cold but he never hurt them like shadrach. Just like charity. She seemed cold but her dad threw her out as a teenager and she learned to survive. Debbie leaving Sarah like charity left her, chas leaving Aaron like faith left her and cain. But they're just a bit better as parents. Zac didn't protect cain and shouldn't have slept with his brother's wife. Before marrying lisa, he got around
