Y can’t people understand children have feelings and emotions too, if the children want to stay with Dawn and Billy then let them be happy. When Social Services are involved it’s when there’s proof of any child abuse which shows they’re to be put somewhere safe not to score points. Everyone deserves a good life including innocent children!!!

Yeah I thought he would but he’s back in the village again because he’s planning to rob the surgery to steel drugs and hes in league with a women Claire who’s helping him sell drugs and he’s playing naomi he doesn’t really care about her he’s just using her so he can rob the surgery alex is a dangerous evil criminal

I really hate the way soaps depict Social Services- even if the characters fears aren't accurate to how they are in a soap the things they say are ridiculous. Dawn saying social services could "Swoop in here and take them away" - no the wouldn't FFS- Social services battle to keep families together, to support parents who are struggling so that the family can stay together- because they recognise children are better in the family home where possible. (Obviously child abuse/child endangerment aside) There is no way Alex, fresh from prison could just go to social services and get those kids- it's laughable that they would take those kids from Dawn and Billy. The kids are settled, in a nice house in a amazing area, they have family support and community support, they are both happy and settled in school. Absolutely no grounds for the kids to be taken from Dawn at all. The best Alex could get, is if he proved he was stable for a long time, had a good job and his own suitable accommodation, he might get joint custody rights. But no way in his present situation. Also soap characters are dumb- tell the police he is trying to blackmail you then see how far he gets trying to win custody lol
