Finally, a villain who’s gonna go to jail for what they’ve done, rather than just getting killed off. Tom deserves this, in every way possible and let’s not forget his dad wasn’t abusive and I think it was out of Character, for Jimmy to say that and to be fair, I think Jimmy should’ve been the one to see through it and Nicola should’ve stayed on Tom’s side, instead of Jimmy. Haha Tom.

Having watched this 22 minute airing of the domestic abuse/ violence storyline surrounding Belle & Tom ( which i will now admit drew me in after years of having not given time to Emmerdale ), this occurring due to myself being a victim/ survivor of severe domestic violence at the hands of my psychopathic narcissist ex husband, ( whom i married at the still tender age of just 16 years old back in April of 1984 ),... 4 months into the marriage i was introduced to a monster the likes of which i had only observed in horror films. For over 14 long years i suffered regular physical beatings, verbal insults, put downs, gaslighting, projection & triangulation, ( i was spat on as well as at, punched, had my hair pulled, felt the cold steel of carving knives held at my throat, attempted strangulation, threatened with my face being burned by a hot iron ),... always followed by the " i'm sorry it will never happen again " bullshit. Threats of if you leave me i'll take my own life, ...i may as well be dead ( so for me this took me back to my own personal hell on this earth, how i was pulled in, isolated, demeaned etc ),... the only difference being i DO DESPISE him, NEVER WILL he know forgiveness,... he KNEW what he was doing, feeling ZERO remorse & never holding himself accountable. The sense of wanting to stand up & cheer watching justice come about when my abuser still walks free ( infact now married to his THIRD wife whom he PURCHASED from her family over in Hong Kong),.. she now having NO CHOICE but to do as she is told,... i found escape then learned that the UK ' justice ' system cared NOTHING for my 14 YEAR PLUS hell, ( indeed i was NOT allowed to speak during the high court proceedings), thank you #Emmerdale for highlighting the hell of domestic violence/ abuse, coercive control etc. Hopefully it may help other victims to find their own voices, ..perhaps finally breaking free.
