It's too real for me and I try to almost gloss over the reality of my situation, where I come off as this happy person who's doing okay. Facing the full truth is just too hard, until I can get out at least... knowing everything I've lost and the pain of it all...

Well the good news then is Thomas King is not a complete monster. But already he's no longer a normal functioning human being given the ordeal he continues to inflict upon Belle. The moment he started hitting her and being relentlessly domineering in his bid to control her lifestyle was the same moment he became a much darker character with little hope for redemption. I'd say those hopes are dead in the water now, and he's still a lot WORSE than his late father.
