As controversial as this opinion is going to be, I’m actually glad that were starting to see a glimmer of hope that Belle is awakening to the fact that Tom has been abusive to her, and I hope she goes all the way in the sense that she doesn’t go back on herself in terms of convincing herself that nothing is wrong. What Tom did to her what absolutely disgusting and that’s the mildest way I can even put it, there was always gonna come a moment whereby things escalate to such an extent that Belle knows that what is being done to her is abhorrent (again to put it mildly). I also really hope 1) that the bruise stays around to such an extent that someone sees it and begins to start asking questions and 2) that this is the ONLY injury Belle suffers at the hands of this monster!! Get out Belle before it’s too late

Used to watch ED when Belle was very young and coming across her as an adult going through this utterly heartbreaking. I have my own experience in this matter and have to say I’m impressed by the portrayal, both actors are doing great but it is an extremely hard watch
