Was this a first for a regular soap? Six gay male characters appearing in one episode?! ;-) Ste, Brendan, John Paul, Doug, George, and Kevin. (And yes, it was subsequently confirmed during Maxine's abuse storyline that her friend, Kevin, is gay.)

I feel like JP and Doug don't have very much chemistry together, although I'm starting to grow quite fond of them as characters. Stedan on the other hand, chemistry still explodes off the screen whenever they even look at each other. I loved how protective Brendan was of Ste, and that last kiss was just perfect.

i really hope that JP goes after Doug. Then once Brendan leaves Ste realizes how much he cares about Doug and it becomes a contest between them. Most of the problems that Ste and Doug had especially in the beginning was Doug's inability to let go of Ste and Brendan's relationship. Ste kept telling him it was over and he would harp on it some more. It put a real strain on things. Now Ste will have closure with Brendan and be in a better place to realize how amazing Doug is.

Cutest episode ever!! I love George. He's always spot on and calls it like it is. He's a smart lad. You'd have to be blind to not see that Doug and John Paul are into each other. I know this has been said before or at least should have been said, but I don't want George written out of the show anytime soon. He's a great character and hasn't been given much screen time. Also, his boyfriend hasn't been seen in forever, so they're probably over. I really hope Bryan Kirkwood keeps George around.

Sorry Doug haters. I really like him. He is sweet and funny. He makes the most asinine decisions because he rushes in before he thinks about it. But at the end of the day he loves with his whole heart. Plus PJ is gorgeous. Those blue eyes just jump out of the screen at ya.

I just love how Brendan and Steven love each other! They leave all that other shit behind when it's just them! It's like they look at each other! And the rest of the world melts away,and it's just them! And nothing, and no one else matters! And when there lips meet, everything is alright! Brendan's universe becomes Ste! And Ste becomes Brendan's! The yin to his yang! There synchronicity of two souls! That's why I think when Brendan leaves! Ste is going to become the Brendan of Hollyoaks!

And he always takes Brendan out of his comfort zones! With Ste, everyday is a surprise! Ste has been mad a Brendan for almost two weeks now! And all Brendan did was buy presents for Ste children! After Brendan is gone I honestly think JP and Ste are better together than JP and Doug. Because JP and Ste will be exactly in the same place, they both will have lost the love of their lives.They get each others situations,there are no strings attached and from that some good drama can come.With MCarter Doug is just playing second banana AGAIN.It will be the same Stug storyline but with JP this time.Doug deserves a more original storyline and a guy that will love him, not "settle" for him.

why would doug want ste?they are better as friends,and about ste,love has nothing to do with realising how amazing a person is,ste loves brendan and even if bb dies he will always love him, doug will be always be a second best so neither of them will resume a relationship that was a failure. i'm not having a go at you, but the idea the writers would do that isn't a good guess. stug was create for stendan,it served its purpose so let it go. moreover ste won't be in a relationship for a while
