I’m just gonna point out, this is a 15 year old Dany doing the work of 3 people. Foo fighters usually has 3 guitarists including Dave Grohl. Just amazing. These girls are destined for greatness 🤟😊

I consider this to be their first Official "Cover" music video because of the way it was produced, very professional. They used so much power and energy in this performance, at least from what I can see, impressive.

Thank you for reacting to this video. If I recall correctly, Dany was 15 at this time so she was still working on her voice and it was probably changing as well. I really love this cover as all their covers seem to be as good, if not better than the originals. The reason it was subtitled "Out of the Basement" was because up to this video they had only done covers in their basement studio, so it was a big step in their development. They played the song 6 times at this location and the audio was recorded at the location, with the best of all 3 recordings used for the audio. This fact shows their talent and professionalism at such a young age. It is one of the many reasons why I became such a huge fan and supporter of them from 2014 to now.

They are overwhelmingly talented!! At the time they made this video they were 15, 13 and 11. Amazing! Yes! On march 15, 2022 they will open for Foo Fighters at Foro sol stadium in Merxico City! Viva The Warning !! ⚡⚡⚡

Glad you did this one. I believe it marks a significant step in their progress as a band. This was recorded "live" which is what makes it shine. Pau is absolutely stunning on drums at 13. I love Dany's choices on guitar playing between rhythm and lead. Her vocals are wonderful. Ale is already becoming the Rock Star she is now. at 10? 11 tops? Soooo good. I LOVE THIS BAND !! ✌💖🎼

If anyone is wondering if they could actually do this live, check out this video from their Tedx show at about the same ages. Set the video at about 9:05. Let the video run a little after the song finishes. 13 year old Paulina comes out front and gives a little speech in her usual style. kzbin.info/www/bejne/mqqtnZtmqbN-bLs

As several others have stated here, I feel like this was a big step forward as The Warning demonstrated that they could combine a great performance with an impressive, well-produced music video at their young age. Another big progression was when the music video for Choke came out, very professional and with great production values. Thanks for another great reaction! Love that you're a Nirvana fan.

Just an FYI. The audio from the recording is actually from their first take of the video. Then they did some more takes to get the other angels. So it was basically recorded live right in the moment.

Few other aspects to love here, too! The are so rhythmically tight as a unit already at this age, in a way most bands playing live aren't even quite experienced ones. (Yes, this is a live recording on location. Crazy!) They also have an incredible ear for arrangement, and they make such a big sound on this song as a three-piece covering a five-piece band! That involves very clever choices by Dany on the guitar, and a lot of complexity for her too, while singing lead with such power and charisma at the same time. That's also probably why they used all three voices on the chorus, another trick to expand the sound and play with dynamics. The recording engineer for this deserves a special shout out. I'd love their concert recordings to be of this quality. 🤘

If you really want to hear the sweetness of her voice...this is pretty special. It's just her, her phone, and her acoustic guitar. She sneaks on, a few minutes after midnight for an impromptu performance of "Break In" by Halestorm (Lizzy Hale) and "First Day Of My Life" by Bright Eyes. Really special. Dany definitely has become stronger and more accurate in her vocals, even this past year as far as how their latest materials sound. Paulina has always been a total machine on the drums, not machine as in mechanical or stiff but rather in that she keeps a reliable and powerful pace. I think Ale has always done her part really nicely too but all three of them definitely developed over time.

These are the kind of reactions that bands can learn from. Great job (as always) M! One interesting other thing. Maybe I'm wrong but I believe this is the only song on which Ale is playing a Gibson Bass. Keep up the good work. On a lighter note: when I had a hickey💋 I used to wear a collar 🤫. Stay young, stay fresh 😁

This is the second time I find your analyzations slightly off when you react to the “The Warning”. Like you, I’m also a trained musician educated at the University of North Texas in Jazz Studies, so I’m more than qualified to tell you that you’re missing the characterizations of the genre your critiquing and you also don’t understand Dani’s guitar playing. Dani is playing the part of two guitar players and singing on top of that. There’s no hesitation or struggle or “thinking” in her playing, she’s taking on three parts. Anyone that does that cannot “think” in the way one does when they’re first practicing or learning the parts to perform on the level she is here. The harmony you refer to is exactly how the Foo Fighters recorded the song, not a variation from it. You prefer a breathy and softer voice from Dani when she sings her solo part with just the guitar? She’s singing what fits the genre and again, the way Dave Grohl sings that part. What you’re asking for would destroy this song. Even when you sing a part, I can hear the highly trained voice with vibrato you have and your way off the style and sounds alien to rock n roll. Again, Dani is spot on mimicking Dave’s part in this song. “The Warning” is a hard rock band, there will always be ragged edges and unevenness that is against the norm of standard musical performances, this is hard rock-n-roll and not a baroque orchestral performance. The Warning in this video is OUTSTANDING and are playing way past their age. Their performance is perfect and sounds like pro playing from very young girls. Don’t create critique that is not there just to fill your reaction video and take a little more care in understanding the genre you’re critiquing.a

I don't think they were doing harmony. The three are singing in unison.
