That is so quintessential Old School Aussie, taking the piss out of everyone including himself. With the way things have become so PC over the last few years it's so refreshing to see this for what it is, comedy to make people laugh and feel good. Well done young man your a breath of fresh air we all need. Good luck with it all.
@DM-it1qf2 жыл бұрын
The thing about society being “too PC” has been historically people joking about things that are controversial in a way that is insensitive; for example white people telling racial jokes where the “punchline” was obviously just them being outright racist for no reason other than to be “edgy”. There’s a reason we’ve progressed past that, where such conduct was just an excuse to demean other people.
@sammylpt90762 жыл бұрын
Oh look, another person of colour or person from an ethnic minority making his or her whole act about racial culture. Can someone direct me to any comedians of colour who have acts which don't revolve around being black, Asian or other? Like a person of colour Peter Kay perhaps.
@isatubarrie91452 жыл бұрын
Well people tend to do standup around their experiences, I don't know what your asking for tbh
@sammylpt90762 жыл бұрын
@Isatu Barrie Well yes, this is a good point well made. But if the only comedy you can pluck out about your life experiences is about race then you’re probably not going to be much more than a one hit wonder. Comedy shouldn’t have to be something that everyone has to get and I understand that, but all I’m saying is that a pattern emerges with certain comedians. White peoples tend to tell a lot of anecdotal stories about every day life for general folk. People of colour have 90% of their routine about being of a certain colour or culture. Why?
@isatubarrie91452 жыл бұрын
@@sammylpt9076 ...and people of color tell their stories about everyday life as....you guess it! as people of color! Unless your saying they should try to suit their stories to fit the typical stories and that match to the whit- I mean general folk.
