This brownie cookie recipe is so delicious! I substituted the brown sugar with granulated cane sugar and also reduced the amount of sugar by 10g. My cookies still tasted great although shape-wise, they turned out to be a little taller than the ones you made. This recipe is a keeper (: Thank you for sharing ありがとうございます

It could be you had just a tad more flour than you needed --nothing you can't adjust next time! Recipes are meant to be played with! I added finely grated orange zest and omitted the coffee since I don't like instant coffee. Yummy!

wow. loved how you tried out various other recipes and showed their pros and cons. The extra info given at the end was very helpful too
With all the great feedback and how your cookies look I decided to try making these brownies, in 10 or so minutes I will know how good they really taste! ( swapped out the coffee for chocolate powder)

@@3lzc192 Maybe the next video that played was Alvin Zhou's and they had to wait 72hrs for the cookies hence no response yet?

Great recipe! I just tried it today and it's a success! Since I had to use margarine (dairy allergy), i chilled the dough in the fridge before shaping the cookies and baking them and they turned out great! The margarine didn't "sweat through" the dough while baking and they're nice with beautiful cracks on top. I doubled the amount of chocolate chips to make up for the lack of nuts (didn't have any), and used bitter almond extract (both because i unfortunately don't have vanilla extract but also because i thought it would be nice since I couldn't put nuts in), and they taste amazing, I'm very happy :) Thank you for sharing this recipe with us!

They were so good I actually baked another batch today 😅
Wow!This is definitely the best baking video I have seen because you show different kind of recipe/ingredient in 1 video, this is great as we can see the result of the cookies and choose one that match our tastsbud. Great video!
Thanks for sharing your recipe!!! These are SO good, perfectly soft on the center, and crispy on the edge, though maybe because I refrigerated before baking, the cookies didn't spread much like yours.

Actually, I put mine in the fridge too, and they didn't spread or crack. Will try not doing that this time! Also, I made the BP recipe and they were more cakey than cookie.

@Maison Mei mixing a little more incorporates air which creates the cracked top

Yum! Gotta try these with some plant based butter and Just Egg as I have a family history of cancer and need to avoid the estrogen in dairy and choline in eggs--Thanks for posting
I made it but i made some changes because i live in tropical island: 1. Made with DCC, 2. I make 2 batch, didnt refrigerate it and referigerate it for 5-10minutes and refrigerate it for 40 minutes Refrigerate too much it made the crack gone, refrigerate it 5-10 make the crack smaller than not cool it. Meanwhile if i didnt cool it, it will spread out and thin but still thicc inside. I prefer this since it cracks beautifully and crispy on the edge

Thank you for the recipe. It tastes yummy P.s. if you use soda, you should use some vinegar. In a spoon mix it and when it stops effervesce, you can put it into pastry

Just made these and the recipe worked perfectly. Only thing is they’re very very rich, not a bad thing but 1 is enough! I used 70% so not sure if that’s why mine were so rich.
