It's so refreshing to see such a clean city where people obviously take pride in where they live. The exact opposite of what we see in my State of California.

The one great thing I noticed in your video was how peaceful and quiet everything seems. Same with your videos on Spearfish and Sturgis. No horns honking, emergency vehicle sirens blaring, or other excessive noise pollution and chaos like so many of us have to deal with in the bigger cities.
@TristanEmond Жыл бұрын
Yes - obviously that happens some of the time. And when the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally is on there it's a whole different story. 😆 Even if it gets a bit loud in town, you can be so many places in the Hills in under and hour!

And the best thing of all, no homeless camps piled up on every street corner buried in mounds of trash.

Great video. We've been wondering what that purple building was, now we know! We may have to stop in and check it out. BTW, strong recommend for Tally's. Amazing breakfast.

It’s nice to see downtown booming again. When the mall first opened in the 70s, downtown dried up. I grew up in Rapid but haven’t lived there since 1980. I sure miss it!

Yeah it was pretty slow when we moved there in the 90s. Main Street square started the revitalization. It's pretty happening now!

Tristan how is the Delmonico Grill and what are some of your favorite restaurants in Rapid or neighboring areas.
@TristanEmond2 жыл бұрын
Delmonico Grill is pretty tasty! It's higher end so not exactly cheap tho. I did have a great lunch there that wasn't crazy expensive. We aren't much for going out to eat, but Murphys and firehouse are a couple of my favorites. Outback is good cause they do well with my wife's allergies. I have a fan favorite restaurant video in the works.

Normally not too bad. We don't have the moisture or humidity like other places. Usually we can sit outside during the evenings and enjoy it! However, wet years are different...still not as bad as MN (where I grew up) 🤣

Not much downtown anyway. The Nepalese one that was downtown moved a few blocks west. Que Pasa is a pretty decent American Mexican place on the corner of 5th and Main. The other cuisines are around - just in other parts of the city. 👍
