@@officialasa Its not necessarily about giving respect for NOT doing that.. More that he threw it in a bar in order to perpetuate the behavior. It is about changing the culture from the bottom up. For any neanderthal that would just go for it in that situation, to maybe change that behavior after hearing this.. Even if it is just 1 neanderthal it is moving culture forward, and 1 particular persons life will be saved from a very shit experience. Not about the praise of the act. ALL about putting that message out there to the world that CAN'T is the only option. All while obviously making it clear earlier in the song that he is about the hookup life. I understand that this sort of subject is super touchy. My experience of it as a Male is by the statistics a much much smaller amount than that of what a Female has to endure.. That being said, I dont mean to offend in any way, I just hope you can see that the respect is for the perpetuation of good behavior, for the changing of the culture.
