Yea they''ll struggle in diamond if they dont fix that, the climb from d3-d1 can be tough, especially d1 when the game knows youre about to rank up, and they give you the wildest teammates

Their bap positioning is so much naturally better because they're more confident with their hitscan aim. They aren't confident in their Kiri projectile aim (rightfully so tbf it's a lot worse) and as a result keep wander past their teammates so they can hit shots on the enemy. They should just focus on Bap.

I think their positioning was better on Bap because they have no confidence with ANY of their aim. The only reason they played so far up on Kiri was because they always had TP in their back pocket. Swift step enabled their bad positioning. If they thought they could hit shots with Bap, they'd have played just as far up with him, because you don't often need to TP out if you can hit shots and use cover. They can't win duals on Bap, and that's why they're playing correctly. I think it's literally the opposite of what you said. They're not confident AT ALL on Bap and that made them play better. You see how they weaved dam between heals on Kiri a couple of times, despite never really having the good opportunity to, but barely did this on Bap despite the entire game on Bap being an opportunity to (and it simply being easier on Bap). They clearly don't play Bap and weren't confident on him at all.

perhaps.. kiri is not the character for this player, at least not at plat level. the point of dps support is to secure kills on the flank, which requires good mechanics, and they don't quite have that skill yet. they seem to be good with hitscan, but struggled quite a bit with kiri projectile, and just ended up getting no value, not healing their team and not securing many fight winning kills when they went full dps mode. i think they have a good chance climbing if they stick to bap and really focus on supporting their team a bit more! (or maybe just queue dps, theres nothing wrong with wanting to play dps)

It's funny because I see a bit of myself in this comment, I got super back into overwatch with ow2 because of Kiri but as time went on I realized she's just not for me, even down to the kunai aim. Juno existing helped, she's so much more fun to me.

It's tricky, because at higher ranks you can trust your team-mates, but lower-down they should just pick Moira and DPS whilst chucking a heal-orb at the team every now and then. Or play Lucio where you heal by accident.

I think zen, Lucio, illiari , or 76 might be better suited for this player. I get the sense they want to play dps but also want the ability to self heal during a duel. If you’re going to play high healing output characters then saving who you can is your priority. Not everyone is savable, and some people you do save are going to do the same dumb shit that got them in that position in the first place. You should do damage as a support but only after your priority is taken care of. Remember, business before fun

I think slowing down on Kiri for them is going to be beneficial. Kiri damage is beautiful, but you gotta hit your shots. If they stop holding their attack button, and focus on where they think the enemy will be, they're going to land more shots. Also, the sneaking is also quite unneccesary in many cases. You do that in a sniper duel, not against a Zarya or Moira who doesn't even care about headshots.

I mainly play Juno in my games and what I usually do is focus on heals and just poke the person my teammate it fighting. Once I pop my ult on point is when I go full attack on their tank or dps cause I know 9 times out of 10 my ult will keep them alive; I also get the dmg boost and have torpedos to finish off kills.

this Kiriko keeps on forgetting they have a team to support, they're too aggressive without even hitting their shots. Practice your aim more then do those aggressive plays. its okay to be aggressive if you get kills but tbh they just tunnel vision one enemy and let their whole team die.

Can someone tell me if I was in the wrong? I was playing widow and I was 13-4 and our other dps would NOT STOP flaming me and kept saying I was doing trash and they were saying how I only had 3k damage and they had 7k

It depends on if those elims were more solo kills or you shot targets at 1 hp, and when those kills were but for the damage side as widow your not getting a lot of damage so your teamate flaming you for that is in the wrong. 13 and 4 on widow is impressive though

Strongly disagree. Heals are only required when team mates are in danger of dying, and there are situations where it is worth letting one of your team mate dies if you can help secure a high impact kill (e.g. tank).

I was stuck in silver 4/5 for my entire first competitive season, thought I was just getting unlucky, but ELO hell was a cope. Started looking seriously into my mistakes and weaknesses this season and I’m plat 3 now. Makes things a lot easier when you just focus on yourself

@@soup3043 I hear you and trust me I do, I watch the coaching vids for tips and to see if I should do things differently I climbed to plat 2 and the teams somehow get worse like the tank will break LoS with supports and die or the dps get diffed so hard. I’ll finish a game as juno will best lobby heals 13-15k a game 2-5 deaths and 3-7k damage and still lose 3/4 times in a row and win 1-2 games…. Then I watch these vids see how bad someone plays and see the rank and its blows my mind how they climb especially out of gold

@@Peaklakefitness yeah man, i feel you. I trust that we’ll both be able to climb to diamond and higher if we keep applying ourselves and considering how we can help our teams in the best way we can. Sometimes, matchmaking is a bitch, but if you’re putting up those stats over and over again, you’re gonna get there, and it’s going to be amazing when you do. Just remember that our teams ARE the problem, but carrying in spite of that is why people get to masters and above. You can do this!

I play dps kiri when the other support gets Juno. Usually I pick Juno faster but it’s happened when I end up backfilling sometimes. Ill heal if I get to play the character I want
