Also for the wusses like myself who can’t watch these series alone. Like legit I will have lil hallucinations of the characters appearing in my peripheral vision or standing in my hallway but I can only see them though the reflection of the tv screen. Real scary stuff, I think I would actually cry if I had to watch Mandela Catalog or Graylock alone. This goes for scary movies or video games as well and games not even in horror like hollow knight or rain world. But I find them so cool, like I am terrified of them but I love them too much to not interact with them in someway.

Also, Nirvana isn't a place in California, but it could be a reference to the highest 'state' someone can attain, which is rooted in Buddhism

My theory on the iron maiden is he tricked a worker to open the case shown by the cartoon of Eve being tricked by the snake or serpent (AKA the devil) and I believe he sees himself as the devil and wants a reputation as a serial killer just like the killers shown in the beginning but the most sadistic part about this is he uses drugs and hallucinogens to stimulate the person before murder or (presumably the sons case) he stimulates the victim for a long time and tortures them shown by the bleeding through every hole in there face for both kills documented. Funnily enough, the whole idea of the serpent in the garden of Eden being the devil was an assumption. No where originally did it state that they were one and the same. In fact, the bible just says that the serpent is crafty. The bible calls the serpent “the most clever of all of the beasts of the field that YHWH God had made."

4:16 - I remember those letters all being found to be fake, written by false citizens that wanted to mess with the police or gain some attention using the Ripper’s title, with the exception of two. From Hell and another one; one of them was debated to be from the killer Also, this seems to be based off of Genesis with attributes of Jack the Ripper. Very interesting

the three letters that are usually debated on are the dear boss letter, the saucy jack card (these two were probably written by the same person), and the from hell letter. "from hell" was sent with a piece of human kidney (one of the victims had the same kidney removed) and is the most widely accepted one to be from the killer, though it is not provable, and was at the time dismissed as a hoax.

Ok so about 6:48, that statue seems to be connected to Christianity in some way as it reminds me of your typical catholic statue about an angel or virgin Mary (Edit: I didn't finish the video and now realized it was a statue of Jesus) , and what follows in the audio is actually not in reverse but is in Spanish, Spanish is my first language but i couldn't hear everything so ill translate what I can, it goes like this: ... means parts i didn't got at all [ ] are parts im 50 percent sure i got right "...In all your paths since the day you were created until within you evil was found. "long paused" I saw Jesus fall like thunder from the sky (heavens)" this is all I got from that part it is to note that we see a snake, obviously referencing satan and a picture of Jesus with a crown of thorns} I do not remember exactly well but If i remember correctly there was a branch of gnosticism where there were to two Gods, one was a true divine God, and the other was a false God (known as Yaldabaoth or the Demuirge), the demuirge was a false god who wanted humans to be mantained in the physical realm as the demuirge could only affect the physical and n0t the truly divine while the divine god wanted us to ascend through gnosis or knowledge, in this belief jesus is actually the son of the false God, making him a symbol of evil and deceit.

I believe the reason the clip of History of the World is important is because the killer killed one of his victims with an iron maiden. So I have a theory. The killer identified himself as a the Serpent, a common embodiment of Lucifer/Satan. This means he sees himself as a servant of Satan or Satan himself. This would also tie back to the first body being hidden in the Jesus statue. As for the Iron Maiden, I believe this killer is perhaps a security guard at the museum, meaning he would have keys to the cases and be able to open them without problem. He may have broken the glass to make things seem otherwise, like he broke in and wasn’t in already, this would also explain how he knew when the cameras would reboot. He obviously wants attention and this explains why he is making himself visible and showing off that he has an officer’s kid. Though this may be a trap in the long run, attacking an officer on a personal level. Though this might not be true, I think it’s a good guess.

my guess as to how he got the iron maiden out? He works at the museum. Its why the cameras were all rebooting EXCEPT the one needed to show the cops him leaving the garbage bag. He also would have had the key to unlock the display and then re-lock it

havent finished the vid yet but wanted to note, serpent, as in serpents from symbology in the bible notably in tales like paradise lost by john milton, refers to things from hell in this case i would assume, or in some way ties to that, when the angels were cast out of heaven or jumped depending on which stories you go by, they landed in hell and long story short were transformed into serpents for a while before they regained their angelic forms, as for the iron maiden, it could be referring to the statue, the 777 reference being the number of god and having... things representing spikes piercing into her while she's within the statue with her arm reaching out, as if the door to the iron maiden is still partially open and she's begging or pleading for redemption or something of that sort, also tying back into the serpent thing, when the devil tempts eve in the garden of eden he uses the form of a serpent when communicating to her, i think a likely case here is that the killer himself thinks he is the devil, thus it is his duty to punish sinners unworthy of heaven, or something along those lines, dantes inferno has a great portrayal of satan being chained to the bottom of hell beating his wings causing the landscape to freeze around him while he tries to ascend back to heaven, maybe the killer sees himself as sinful, and through punishing other sinners believes he'll be redeemed in gods light somehow

Break in via the window, then use the key to unlock the display, remove the Iron Maiden, then re-lock the display. In the short duration of the cameras rebooting, a skilled and strong enough thief could transport the Iron Maiden outside, collect the glass, and move it behind the dumpster. However, there's one issue; no-one's that skilled. No human have that much skill.

Most horror tends to get less scary over time because obviously the stories are fake, but that summary of actual serial killers in the beginning of this reminds you of why the horror genre exists in the first place: Not just to talk about unexplainable occurrences or unsolved mysteries, not just to acknowledge our fear of the unknown in general, but to demonstrate the deepest levels of depravity that exist in human nature. Bundy, Jack, Dahmer, Gacy? The stories of these men and more force us to be face to face with our species at its worst- and their actions continue to influence the villains in fiction to this day. We’re meant to be afraid, meant to be disturbed or uncomfortable, because we all know deep down that this is only a sample of the atrocities mankind as a whole have committed/created throughout our entire history. Horror isn’t entertainment. In the end, it’s a mirror.

THEORY: the killer has ties to religion (by the statue in the first one) the two videos said something about a serpent, which if you didn't know, Leviathan (prince of Envy) is biblically a serpent. (More specifically a sea serpent) So either the killer is working with Leviathan or he IS Leviathan. Also, the iron maidens are an 18th century torture device, the killer, stole/borrowed a(n) iron maiden and kept Dust's son inside. Also Also, the person in the statue video is the one who saw the lightning. Another fun fact is, Leviathan is weak only to Lightning. This means the victim could've actually gotten rid of the killer.

I think the killer unlocked the display case of the Iron Maiden, took it out and hid it somewhere (or had an extra display case, for some reason🙄) relocked the case, the PURPOSELY caught him carrying the trash bag to the dumpster.
